Re: Best goal scored at the Mad Stad

One that always sticks in my memory is David Bentleys goal back in 06/07 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFMWlNaLjU0

Remember the stunned silence and patter of applause from the east stand

Re: Brian Tevreden to Derby??

Mcdermott was tactically inept. The reason he was successful for us, is the reason that Shakespeare is getting results at Leicester . That simply comes down to being surrounded by staff and a group of players who know you and respect you and vice versa. Mcdermott showed this on his second time as ma...

SPECULATION: Lerin Duarte

Skysports: "Ajax have terminated midfielder Lerin Duarte’s contract with immediate effect. The Eredivisie club confirmed the news in a statement on their website, but stopped short of giving a reason for the decision. Duarte, who was under contract at the club until June 2017, scored four goals...

He's 27. Not exactly what I would call young in terms of a footballer. Probably peaking age, so good time to sign.

Re: Looking forward

Love the guy and everything he stand for, his passion for the club is second to none but wrong decision to bring him back. It worked so well last time because he was so integrated into the club at that time . Coming back after a few seasons with new owners, a team full of egos and only a few members...

Re: Gunts on his way?

Gunts is far from being shit. Hes not a world beater but he is a good, solid RB. Dependable and his injury record is very good. There will be a lot of clubs queuing up in this division (and lower prem) if he let his contract run down. The Majority wont fully understand how important he is to us unti...

Re: First on the Team-Sheet for McD?

Vydra is clearly a class act. What we must remember though is during both spells at Watford he had Troy Deeney as a strike partner. Powerful, big, holds the ball up, can see a pass. We have no-one like that at present to put alongside Vydra - Sa at his very best maybe.

Re: Welcome back Brian?

Completely disagree - Swap taylor for Keown (If your not going to play him whats the point in bringing him along?) Bring on Cooper for Ferdinand. If he had done that we could have kept the shape that was successful in breaking down Hull in the 1st half - with Hector protecting the back 4. As soon a...

Re: Hull City (A) Match Thread - Sponsored by a Brucey Bonus

Bond easily our MOTM. Made a string of solid saves to keep us in it and very unlucky to concede the goals he did. With Taylor and Ferdinand still on the pitch we could have claimed at least a point. Really good goal for us and breaks Blackmans drought which is a positive. Some positives but unfortun...

I really hope its not Mcdermott. I think it will still be Garcia.

Everyone needs to hop off the Mcdermott train....nothing official has been announced yet.

Re: Who do you want to replace Clarke?

There isn't a better manager available now than David Moyes, we would be very, very lucky to get him on board.

He has had failures, but what manager hasn't?

Ideal world would be either Moyes or Pearson but have a funny feeling Gus Poyet may be on the shortlist.

Re: Speculation michu

Michu's brother manages the team he is going to in the fourth division. Said he is going just to get games and will look to move on again to a better level when he feels comfortable. Poor bastard has had a horrible couple of seasons, nearly retiring last year.
