Re: Vertu Trophy 2024/5

If we get beyond the next round and fans start taking an interest in this competition.
Are they genuine fans or just Vertu signalling?

Thought Colin Gordon should be on this list but can maybe just miss out for those two goals at Chelsea.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stockport County (a)

My opinion on this is pretty much no matter how we set up for this we’d have been dicked We don’t have the players to deal with but physical threats. Mbengue is relatively small, Bindon still growing and can get bullied, fullbacks aren’t even fullbacks and one is 16 and looks it The forward line of...

Double-Barrelled brewery is Portman Road. Phantom Brewery is on Meadow Road near Cardiff and Swansea Roads opposite TGIs.

So is it at Phantom on Meadow Road or at Double on Portman Road?

Phantom

Seems quite fitting as Bowen has been nothing more than a familiar for the last 18 months.

Wycombe and Reading are in the play-off places.
Is it written in the stars?
Couhig manages to unglue the club from Dai's horribly sticky fingers and we meet his former club at Wembley!

Re: CONFRIMED: Latest rumours Confrimed as Unconfrimed

I hope success on the pitch doesn't give Dai the idea he can hold out for a bigger payday with the potential of us being a Championship team next season. Unless he sticks in cash for contract extensions before January I think it is improbable. Fully expect us to drop like a stone with an ever more ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (a)

Unless the takeover concludes by the end of the year then the main worry is, like last season, the Jan window....in fact its potentially worse this season due to reduced squad size. We cannot, I assume, extend the likes of Bindon's contract so we can expect low ball offers again from anyone from lo...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol Rovers (h)

I assume we had to concede that Campbell gets a certain number of starts/minutes to get his signing over the line at the last minute.
I haven't seen anything from him to suggest he should be ahead of anyone in the pecking order.

Jackson Corner My heart has calmed down now. That was a painful last 30 mins. When was the last time we won a midweek away game without a side beginning with B?

Stevenage. This "their nickname is Boro" excuse is nonsense.

That's not a common name so I'm amazed we had two players with that name on our books.....

I was quite surprised too.

Elm Park Kid At least the away fans at the SCL can get to their seats - unlike a few of the away grounds I went to last season . . .

Absolutely Bolton and Rotherham recently sold tickets in blocks that were closed!

Speaking as a wheelchair user and someone who has been to a lot of other grounds. Reading is right up there with the very best in the country.
