Re: Golf commentator supports Reading...

As is the head of the Royal Mail - although frankly you would think that that being the case my mail would turn up in the morning, rather than sometime in the afternoon, but there you go.

Re: Fans apology to Mills

Mills swore after the booing started, he was being booed every time the ball came to him. Agree he shouldn't have done but he did, he has since appologised so everyone needs to get over it and move on. A player should never be booed by his own supporters as that defeats the object of supporting the...

Re: Amusing way to irritate Lita on Saturday?

Pathetic thread, sums up the small time attitude of Reading fans. Reading fans are small minded, always trying to get attention by winding up the opposition fans or players. Concentrate on your own team. You should be going to watch Reading...not the opposition. Are you moaning about Reading fans A...

Re: Fans apology to Mills

IDIOT. Mills was booed AFTER he gave the finger. So no im not going to apologise to him. Why should I. He has to the fans and thats what should have happened. End of story. You can if you like.

Re: Back from the game, QPR

Congratulations on celebrating a penalty win against 10 men, you'd have thought you'd have won the league, and this isn't sour grapes, but is there a bigger set of collective gimps than the east stand, booing your own player, scoring, and then singing his name, oh, and are all your player songs tun...

Re: Matt Mills

Reading fans really are not half as bad as so many, rather patronizingly try to make out. The pure hatred that I have experienced at other clubs, the vitriol and vennom directed towards their own team. Thankfully Reading fans are nothing like that. I think considering what happened between our 1st ...

Re: Matt Mills

I wish you would use these anger and passion when you are at a game and support the team with a song and a chant, rather than sit on your hands and slag off other people on the internet . You are the worst kind of modern football fan. http://masonictao.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/imeter1.gif not re...

Re: Matt Mills

Wycombe - it's that simple, if you don't like swearing ( Christ Almighty) then I suggest you go and sit with the other boring people in the section for family (I'm guessing this is in the Lower West Stand). Boring? :| Oh, you must mean because they don't all stand and swear at our best playe...

Re: Matt Mills

More importantly perhaps we support the players - sing their name etc etc, which is showing much much much more support than the other two stands of the ground who show their appreciation by sitting in silence. You slag us for booing Kebe ( i never boo our players, apart from mills when he gave the...

Re: Matt Mills

I was sat high up in Y25. As has been said many times, there were groans not boos directed at him after he had hit the millionth long ball to nobody....the Booing started after the finger, and rightly so. Then it stopped fairly quickly. Appropriate response i thought. Or would you have prefered us a...

Re: Back from the game - Bristol

FineRine yet again you are negative...At least this time you didnt label the fans muppets for singing a chant that you didnt like...however you are factually wrong - there is no chance of making the playoffs? Actually there is a chance of making the playoffs, its just unlikely, but not massively so....

Re: Jay Tabb

He is playing well, but i truly and honestly think he really is not very good - he has no real position as he fails to excell in one area, which points to a hard woring journeyman footballer who is honest as the day is long, but simply not quite good enough. Makeweight - dont get me wrong, im not sa...

Re: Great pre-season friendlies of the past

I remember playing Spurs at Elm Park at a preseaon game - they won 1-0, and a certain Sol Campbell made his debut at right back (or was it left back)

Also i was at that Wolves game but was late and thus missed the goal, so imagine how i felt..Furthermore was that not the last time we won at home in the league before our run of death at home..?

Re: Dullest match you've ever seen Reading play in

Reading 0 - 2 Bolton... There were goals, indeed if i remember one was even rather good, but it was anti football from bolton and no football from reading, about 4 away fans, and it was dire. There was a 0-0 against Wimbledon on boxing day a few years back that sticks out... Frankly having watched R...
