Re: CONFIMRED - The final countdown

MartinRdg I've just got an email notification of a change to Reading FC on the companies house gov.uk website but can't find what's changed. Anyone else got any ideas?

Some of the commas in the "change of address" notification have moved. Still isn't right, though.

Re: Players on international duty

Garcia - came on as a 94th minute substitute in England U18's first game. Started the second game but was injured after 31 minutes (whilst he was on the pitch England went 2-0 up against France but it ended 2-2). Wasn't involved in the third game. Kanu - started for Sierra Leone U20 in a 4-1 loss to...

Re: CONFIMRED - The final countdown

The women's accounts were also published. The company was wound up, and there seems to be some sort of adjustment to do that. So I've wondered if thats part of the inter-company transfer on the men's accounts.

Re: CONFIMRED - This might be it!!

So at some unspecified recent date, the EFL disqualified Yongge. Why exactly was this kept a secret?

Re: Players on international duty

Kanu has actually been named in Sierra Leone's U20 squad, unless there was a late change (which there might be as one of the defenders in their full squad pulled out today). The relevant games are friendlies against Ghana U20 and Morocco U20. The AFCON U20 tournament runs from 26 April, so I doubt i...

Basil Tuma called up for Malta, so that's three. Incidentally, Shrewsbury made it clear that it was Reading who had called the game off.

Re: Historic Football Quiz

Sanchez obviously could have played for England as well (born in London).

In fact, he did play twice for England Schools U18, although that's based on where your school is rather than standard international eligibility rules.

Re: Reading FC Womens World

That very convincing win will hopefully provide a big boost in morale and confidence. When do the two sisters from Jamaica start playing? They're both due to join NCAA D1 teams in the US in the summer so, no disrespect to the girls currently in the squad, should be a whole level and more above in t...

3000 noisy Brummie`s and a likely dicking, and a ref that sent off Holzman at Lincoln what`s not to like about this game? Oh great, that one. Was more annoyed about the blatant pen that wasn't given on Smith than the red card tbf Last season's home game against Lincoln was a different event from th...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2024/25

Tyler Adjei started on the bench as England U15 beat Turkey 8-0 this afternoon. I don't yet know if he got on the pitch, but he was not one of the goalscorers. The two teams play again on Sunday, so there's a good chance he will start then. In Sunday's England U15 match Adjei was on the bench, the ...

Continuing my quest to bring you the most obscure results possible... Reading U13 girls lost 3-2 yesterday to Bucks Football Academy. Reading are last in the 10-team table, with 1 win and 4 defeats. The win was against Chelsea, who are 2 places higher and 2 points better off, but Reading do have 4 g...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2024/25

England U15 have some games coming up in February. The squad for the first two matches includes Reading's forward Tyler Adjei. Both games are at St George's Park against Turkey. Previously I mentioned England U15 training camps in the autumn. There were about 100 players in total, with four from Rea...

Re: A Berkshire 'national' team

Solanke's birthplace appears to be in dispute. Some places say Reading, some say Basingstoke. He definitely went to secondary school in Basingstoke, but I think Reading is more likely to be the correct place of birth. However, the cheating Berkshire selectors can't have Bashir Humphreys because he w...
