Re: Portsmouth fc

Whereas i understand a lot of the PFC bashing, it is a tad ott. How many Reading fans would support the club if faced with extinction? 2,000? 3,000? That's what happened back in 1983. Maybe more now but if the club was at the wrong end of the table facing oblivion, I would expect crowds to drop to ...

Re: The Phil Dowd appreciation thread.

It wasn't one-eyed from where I was sitting. I'll re-watch the game and report back at some point, but I just can't see myself seeing Dowd making 100% accuracte decisions for us in the first half. I'm sure it wasn't but I saw every oxf*rd angle in slow motion so I'm in a damned site better position...

Re: RUMOUR kebe to qpr

roadrunner WBA were interested and are rumoured to be keeping tabs on him. QPR will spend if they go up so it's a likely move if Kebe doesn't return to France as he has previously indicated he'd like to do. Kebe wont be here certainly after next summer. We're a s£lling club now.

Didnt Griffin also go off injured a few games back, and we played the final few minutes with ten?

Re: Muppets booing heskey

Once again, cringe worthy abuse for the biggest professional on the park. Heskey didn't even open his mouth all game - yet is targeted for consistent abuse, just like many moons ago at wigan. Reading fans = pathetic. Support your team and stop barracking the opposition players, especially the ones ...

Re: Is this the dawning of ...

... listening to BBCRB, it sounded like we'd won the game. Admittedly, I thought we played very well and I came away with a smile. But all this talk of ''We've turned a corner" made me cringe - we still only scored one goal and didn't really look like scoring another despite having most of the...

Royal With Cheese I've changed my original post as I thought it was a knee jerk reaction. Therefore your answer does not make sense.

Well done. Any chance of restricting your ill informed, second hand bilge to the one thread?

Re: Back from the game

Marek coming on actually showed a bit of class amongst the dross. I beg to differ. He showed that he can deliver a quality pass if given time and space by the opposition and that he hasn't got the strength on the ball to make that space and time very often. Sad, but true. I'd love to see him succee...

Re: Swansea Match Thread

Poor result and even poorer performance by the sounds of it. But its not the end of the world, we are still second after all. An off-day for us, and there's gonna be a fair few more by the end of the season - but i still believe we have enough about us to go up automatically. The teams below all loo...
