Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (h)

This is a big bugbear of mine. Commentators and experts, especially ex players should, imo, be highlighting play acting not supporting it. It has sadly become the norm that people think a slight touch warrants a foul. Alan Shearer et al - "there's definitely contact, so he's entitled to go dow...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (h)

What really drives me mad is hearing commentators saying the following - after about 3 replays showing it was a brush on the shoulder: "Contact was minimal there" No, there was no oxf*rd contact you arsewipe This is a big bugbear of mine. Commentators and experts, especially ex players sh...

I get so frustrated at how one-footed professionals are, they have a great chance but don't shoot as it's on their "wrong" foot

Re: The general Euro2024 chit chat thread

How Portugal are persisting with Ronaldo is beyond me, he has been a superb player but adds nothing now. They have Jota sat on the bench FFS Tbf it would help if his team mates would get in and around or had any sort of decent final ball. Leao has beaten Kounde all day, but his final product is aby...

Re: The general Euro2024 chit chat thread

Kevin Garside sums it up very well. And when Southgate intervened his first change was Conor Gallagher, a kind of fast-twitch replica of Rice, a player who runs about a lot but who cannot control a match at this level. So England had two of a kind when the situation was crying out for Kobbie Mainoo...

The first time the English refs are in charge, you get a controversial 3 minute VAR decision :x

Re: Next England Manager

time to dust off the thread Why? Pretty given that Southgate will be leaving no matter the tournament outcome though isn't it? Yes, no question about that. I was merely wondering whether it was due to us losing an utterly pointless game where no-one wants to get injured, or if it was slightly less ...

NathStPaul Jinx is clueless.

Southgate has a couple of months left with England. He's done.

He will be Manchester United's problem soon.

I'm glad you disagree, it proves I must be right

Snowflake Royal Oh, pretty sure in the build up to our second or third, Mbengue got some afters from their 9 on the ground and punched him in the head.

He didn't punch him, but he did slam his face into the ground  straight red if we ever get VAR at our level (God forbid)

Re: Who do we want to play next season?

Man City will walk League 1 next season - they will win 45 out of 46, and hang on for a 3-3 draw at the SCL.
