Re: Madman: Your time is Uppppppppppp

Quite frankly if 2 years in the Prem and 2 years parachute does not give you a cushion then you are NOT a well run club! Oyston seems to have it sussed with a £10,000 pw limit.

Re: Reading are crap

I agree with messrs Streete and Herring. Hence I cancelled Sky sports last year and did not renew my ST this season. If we all spit together we can drown the bastards.... I plan on watching RFC away and going to Reading Town otherwise. Back in the mid 80s when prices shot up I quit watching any foot...

Re: The official Wot! No Cobblers thread?

Not exactly a confidence booster is it? A scrappy win against a poor side - and at home too.... I fear for us on Saturday against a Leics side who have won at Elland Road tonight.

Re: We're worse than last year!

I don't think so - from memory we didn't score in the first 3 league games The post was about 4 - 3 league and 1 cup - games - so we are worse off...... but the post was written with tongue firmly in cheek as it is much too early to spot a reliable pattern. However, I don't see much prospect of us ...

We're worse than last year!

After 3 League games and 1 LCup last season we had 2 points and had scored 5 and conceded 4..... Same points this season but we have scored 4 and conceded 4. Even Fed has chosen to err earlier this year. Last year he waited until the 4th League game to chuck the ball over his shoulder against Sheff ...

so youd prefer someone to come in, with no real interest in the club, who just wants in on the football gravy train, who will at some point in the near or distant future want to leave taking all of his cash, and most of the profits with him leaving us in a worse position? Does anyone really think th...

Re: Injured Players

LOL at only buying a season ticket if the club buy who you want. Not saying that at all. I am just sick of the Club talking of pushing for promotion - then doing nowt. Remember the doubling of ST prices to allow us to 'compete' in the PL transfer market. Didn't happen. I was happy buying STs in day...

Re: Even cheaper season tickets

wouldn't go to STAR. They hate the fans. They're only in it for the personal glory e.g: sucking off sonko I really hope you are a pizza faced 14 year old - otherwise you are a totally retarded person. I do not believe in a great deal of what STAR do but I think they mean well and your vulgar abuse ...

Re: torquay away

I think if we win we will have done very well as everything is against us for this tie with so many players away or injured RFC tremble at taking on top of table TUFC...... After 1 game we are trotting out injuries s a defence lest we are beaten by a team with hardly any resources???? For s...

Re: A fit and proper person?

I know - but in any reputable major business [does such a thing exist?] directors and owners are tested against whether they are fit and proper. The PL weasels may be dropping words which make their life dificult, but semantic jiggery pokery will not obscure the truth.

A fit and proper person?

What is a fit and proper person when it comes to running a club? Shinawatra apparently was [until his lack of cash became apparent]. Russian billionaires seem to be although there are doubts about how individuals could become so wealthy so soon after the collapse of 'Communism'. Today I note the fol...

Re: Bus Services to Mad Stad Axed

Could STAR travel include local coaches and benefit from the association with Horseman? With careful costings and use of direct debit agreements to cover the season this could be a winner.... And yes, I would be willing to organise it before everyone says 'if you have ideas why not get off your arse...

Re: Bring Your Vuvuzela Day!

If a dozen folk on here threatening to thump vuvuzla users is seen as indicative of opinion generally it will be a sad day at RFC. I couldn't care less if they are in the ground. I wouldn't expect many and if the deluded minority who think they are heard anywhere other than a few seats away can't ou...

Re: Will You Be Buying/Renewing A Season Ticket Next Season?

STH do get free access to reserve games and use of the Jazz Cafe on match days (unless I am well out of date !). I believe had the expansion plans gone ahead there would have been other STH facilities included in those. ST you are right in your claims..... However, playing the reserve games at the ...

Re: Will You Be Buying/Renewing A Season Ticket Next Season?

I have finally taken the plunge and decided not to renew....

A really good feeling that well over a grand is now available for other things.

I reckon that the ST sales are going badly as I have now had 2 reminders...

I may buy a ST in the future if the club stops treating fans like mugs.
