Re: Congratulations to Reading

If Leeds could go back to Revie, Bremner,, Harvey, Lorimer, Madeley, Reaney, Cherry, Jones, Jordan, McQueen, Grey x2, Hunter, Charlton and my boyhood hero Alan Clarke, Reading could fook right off...I'd still be sporting my "admiral" sock tags Don't forget cooper, Giles and even bates. An...

Re: Sea of Scarves

All the good atmospheres in football are not created with tat like this. Let the fans support the club with some spontaneity and we may get somewhere. Celtic, the kop, man u..... all have had seas of scarves. None are plastic. Given the poor atmosphere st rfc I think any effort is to be applauded .

Re: Hoops

When I first went to watch games in 1999 I struggled to identify who was who as I couldn't see names or numbers on the hoops. However, after a few games it was really quite easy to work out who was who. So I think we should go gor hoops. Having said that I think RFC have had solid blue at one time a...

Re: Is Administration A Bad Thing?

Administration clearly holds few fears for all the clubs which are massively in debt. If the banks were to call in all loans to Clubs the PL would implode beautifully and we would see clubs like MUFC in the mire.... except of course that most clubs would be in the same situation so the status quo wo...

Re: Season Tick Renewal - What's Going On!

A few seasons ago - like RFC - I did some research into ST prices. I was checking the lowest price tickets at each club and - IIRC - RFC were 3rd most expensive... I stopped buying a ST and have to say I am not missing many of the unatractive games! I have saved substantial cash [used to pay for 6 S...

Re: Stewarding today in Y26

If they really wanted to do things properly and sensibly, they'd make Y26 the family area, reduce the prices there but make sure all there did have kids in attendance and that would give them a "buffer zone" instead of what they currently fear is a "conflict zone." "properl...

Re: Back from the game Stevenage

At the home end RFC fans could be heard twice in the first half. Once when singing Que sera sera [an example of we only sing when we're winning?]. And the chants of we're the left side , we're the right side [a particularly naff song]. The la la la chants from Stevenage could be heard coming from 3 ...

Re: Back from the game - West Brom FA Cup

A tale of 3 Irishmen. One maintained his brilliant recent form, scored one and caused all sorts of problems to their makeshift defence. The other two Irishmen were dreadful. The rest of the team all played well and I am really pleased that the manager played what is probably our strongest side apart...

Re: Back from the game - West Brom FA Cup

Anyone else finding Snowball even more tedious now he is trying to be 'witty' as well as analytical? BTW you were criticising others for pontificating about keepers without being GK coaches, and justified your amateur CF days as allowing you to be an expert on Long's genius. How can you also be a Ha...

Re: Where has £3.95 million gone?

RFC fans are odd beings. Austin is seen as being the complete article and Mooney is derided for only having League 1 experience. Go figure. Go away and check their respective goalscoring records and then come back and let us know if you stand by that comment. Austin seems to get better service... a...
