Re: Back from the game (Kettering Away)

We passed the ball well, had most of the posession, but looked like we wanted to walk the ball into the net.

Bertrand looked good, possessed good attacking qualities and had a shot from outside the box, others seemed unwilling to shoot opting for the pass instead.

We need a striker...

abell Then I take it all back!

HC - may I be the 1st to honour the occasion when you actually predicted something right?

Hmm repeating what has been read in the press does not infer that HC has any skills of prediction.

Dignity in defeat

Hats off to Manchester United tonight for losing with dignity. What a contrast they were to the spoilt brat mentality that we see with Chelsea.

Off all the things I dislike about Man Utd, their ability to lose well is not one of them.

Jeez I must get another beer. :?

Re: Jimmy Kebe is a good player, sign in

Jimmy is the French Andy Hughes, great talent, but just misses that final composure at vital times which draws criticism. But he does have a fantastic talent on his day which is why it is frustrating when he gets it wrong. Similar to Bikey. A defensive rock, but with the total inability at times to ...

You can take another slant on this. He never left RFC, he has just been on loan to Stoke. Now he is back and I welcome his return.

Re: CONFIRMED - Glenn Little Loan move

Well i guess pessimists are never disappointed, but I think it is a "good thing" to get Glenn back. He is a great option for the right wing, and will set up goals for us.

Welcome back Glen!

Re: Back from the Bristol City Game

Watching Bristol City play was just like watching Reading play a couple of years ago. (Even down to the pre match huddle). They played with tempo, passed well, looked dangerous down the wings, and scored from some set pieces. Face it we were OutReading'd.

Re: Sir Steve is God

I just fail to see how last year's "player of the season" has suddenly become the guy everyone loves to hate. Every player goes through their bad patch but I often feel bemused when people come back from the game with the usual "Hunt was crap and all Harper did was point" when i...
