Re: Back from the game - Leicester (H)

After Leicester's 1st substitution, they had 7 loanees on the pitch! :o I'm amazed thats even allowed!! I only make it five - Naughton, van Aanholt, Bruma, Yakubu, Kamara - and that is also the maximum allowed hence why Sonko hasn't been featuring for Portsmouth. Isn't Miguel Vitor also on loan (fr...

Especially so considering how poor the crossing from our current wingers has been this season

Re: West Brom in the FA Cup

Well they certainly stuffed us at the Hawthorns in October but that was pre BM so maybe they will be lulled into complacency. Because now we have BM we're like sodding Brazil....................................... No, but in Griffin we do have a right back that might be able to do something ...

Re: Back from the Game - Crystal Palace

rg6royal I think we can all see Gunnar is past it and we need to look into bringing a new striker and midfielder in in January.

Add to that a new goalkeeper, right back and left winger and we might get somewhere.

Royal Lady Gerrard wasn't found guilty.

I know - but he did no different to what King did, except it was on a man not a woman!

We've all seen the CCTV

Benefit of home advantage, a Liverpool player on trial in Southport was never going to get convicted.

The numbers would be a lot easier to read (with or without the panel) if they used red numbering instead of black.

Re: Leicester City Prediction Thread

Those predicting Leicester domination are being foolish. It's not often we get played off the park by an average championship side. Trouble is I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not now :| I promise I'm not. Only WBA, Boro and QPR have really played us off the park this year. Considering the...

It was well publicised that Rasiak was on £10k a week at Southampton, doubt he'd have come here for less money.

Definitely being ripped off with him.

Re: Two Odd Stats

These stats can be used as further proof at the squads lack of strength and fitness this season. On Saturday WBA continually muscled our players off the ball. With an hour of the game gone Kebe and Jem both looked exhausted. Not to mention the appearance of a visibly overweight Shane Long from the s...

Re: RUMOUR - Andrew Surman

While I really rate Martinez as a manager, Wigan's pitch isn't great and if he wants a similar style to what he produced at Swansea will also take away lots of what Wigan were half decent at, more of a long ball and physical side. Coupled with a couple of big name players going I don't think it's i...

I actually saw Mensah play earlier this season when he was on loan at Cremonese. He was by far and away their best player, good in the air, quite pacey and physically strong. However saying that he was their best player is not exaclty a major complement, as a quick glance at the Serie B table will t...
