Re: Back from the game - Leicester

Totally missed the off the ball incident between Griff and their player. Everyone around us thought Griff was given a red card. Even their fans were singing the old "Cheerio" song. To clear up the red card confusion: The ref held up both cards at the same time, the red behind the yellow. ...

Re: Prediction for Leicester, 24 March 2010

Terminal Boardom The best I can forsee is a 2-0 home win. This run of good results has to stop at some stage.

This run of good results? Do you mean foxes W5 D4 of their last 9 at home?
Agreed, it has to stop at some stage.
So how about 0-2.

Re: Liverpool replay

The Met Office show the temperature at Liverpool of 1C or 2C between now and Wednesday when it rises to 4C. They predict some sleet or light snow on Tuesday but rain on Wednesday . So with no more frost between now and match time I think it will go ahead. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/nw/li...

Re: Return from Africa Cup of Nations

readingbedding No, it's down to the players and their respective FA's to make that decision.

Isn't it quite likely that a player might want to return but not want to let his team mates down so stay against his better judgement?

Return from Africa Cup of Nations

If Cisse or Kebe were part of the Mali squad, would/should RFC be asking for their return following the attack on the Togo Team?

Telegraph: Jeremy Wilson assesses the England players' performances.
Richards 8.
Nicky Shorey 7
Probably still third in the pecking order when Ashley Cole and Wayne Bridge are fully fit, but already looks assured on the international stage.

Can we just clear this up. A bloke in my office is insisting that for Germany's first goal, it was Shorey who hacked it out to Germany's right wing and then the bloke slung the cross back in. But the way I saw it, it was Robinson who hacked it out. Who is right? you are def robinson should have lef...
