Awesome - I've not renewed yet cheers TBM. i already renewed but you can buy the seat next to me so I can take friends to all our exciting glamour fixtures this season, funny though, ...

'You failed me and made me look a muppet. It was a simple task to sell the next John Terry to the teams in the Premier League, but couldn't even manage that. You looked clueless in a task that that should have been simple. I am sorry, but there is no other option. David, you're fired.........' corr...

Re: RUMOUR - Royston Drenthe

Let the meltdown festivities begin... :D http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa135/Libertine_jac/earache-my-eye-o_zpscb453196.gif Maybe the reason this has dragged on for so long is because Royston saw all this talk about a meltdown and asked if things could be strung out a bit so the board doesn't ...

Re: Alex Pearce

Well, thanks for that well thought out and well articulated post, i'm sure to give it a lot of thought. Anyway, contract squabble or not, he's still a good player that would be an asset to the team. I don't doubt that he's not on a top wage, and perhaps this is a good indication of how disparity in...

Re: Alex Pearce

i.e. he has had no offers from clubs yet so is trying to get back in the clubs good books. Jog on to be honest Pearce. Yeah, at the end of the day if he so upset with the money we're offering why doesn't he just forget about Reading and go somewhere else, and don't give me "cos he loves the cl...

http://forums.liverpoolfc.com/threads/339159-Liverpool-close-on-Alex-Pearce   My favourite bit was where they all tried to look like they had been studying him over the last 2 seasons and had an in depth knowledge of him. That thread should be held up each time as the perfect example of...

LOL.

As mentioned earlier in the thread a few of us have gone to Grimsby games recently as a distraction from the plight of Reading... nice to know we can be of use to each other.

I move for an unofficial fans affiliation.

Re: Alex Pearce

Speaking regarding Alex Pearce, Nick said, “We have been speaking to him with regards to his contract throughout the season. Unfortunately, up until this point we have not managed to find a deal which is mutually acceptable to both parties. I am keen however, now the season has finished, to have a ...

Re: Alex Pearce

MmmMonsterMunch Personally I think Pearce is a bit of an arse not signing an extension so the club can get some kind of fee - even if it was nominal say £1-2m. The likes of Doyle, Sig, Long etc all did.

Obviously doesn't care that much about the club.

typical badge kisser.

Re: Keep, Loan, Sell or Release Survey

Define performer? He's worked hard but very, very rarely set the world on fire. Has not had nearly enough quality this season and with all our wingers fit I'd have started HRK and Kebe. That said, I voted to keep, but I understand why some didn't. Seems to me that he rarely puts in an early or firs...

Diagonal hoops with the badge where your bellybutton is, with an upside down dominoes pizza sponsor across the top of the shirt. A long sleeve on one side and short on the other. Thanks. Re: MCDERMOTT SACKED

This was the wrong time, the wrong place, and most importantly, the wrong way to do things. Completely classless. At least give him until the end of the season at this point. I can see this team imploding after this fiasco and spending next season trying to avoid the drop...in the Championship. As ...

Re: MCDERMOTT SACKED

Sad sad day for the club as we lose an excellent servant. In complete shock. However, the relationship between Brian and the fans was becoming increasingly strained and perhaps it will be better for all concerned that we have a clean break-up before things get too ugly. Something needed to change w...

Re: MCDERMOTT SACKED

First of all - thanks Brian for getting us to the Premier League with not a lot of management experience. That in itself was a miracle. But to be honest just as fans bemoan the manager for being too loyal to certain players perhaps the owner also should not be too loyal to his manager. At the end of...

So the upside of not signing Gylfi is that Jay Tabb gets to be in the squad for the rest of the season.

I suppose that's some consolation!

Re: Did you leave early?

Can we also get rid of all the fans who only woke up and starting supporting the team after 80 minutes? Then we'll have a home attendance in the region of zero next game. Obviously coming from someone who left early... Yeah alright don't tell everyone. I wasn't feeling great so I thought I'd...
