I dont understand the "why didnt they make 4000 newcastle fans sit down" argument. There were 100 stubborn reading fans, whereas there were 4000 of them.
Im all for standing, and from the sounds of it, the stewarding is stupidly OTT, but please, get another justification.

Just wanted to point out that when the speed way car park exit ground to a frustrating halt last night, the Council stepped in a coned off a lane on the A33 to allow the trapped traffic out through the "entrance". So fair play - credit where credit's due and all that. was pretty frustrati...

Only been to Hertha Berlin twice, but it made me an advocate for German football. The atmosphere in large areas of each stand was insane, the prices were good, the food cheap, the beer cheaper and the overall experience, as stated by most people, was far superior to anything in england.
