St. Brynjar Fucking brilliant. Shoutout to the lovely Woodcoter who got a couple rounds in in Cambridge.

Loyal royal 247 Gorkss at west ham 2012

Mine was the 2nd one, Hunty's. 2-1 just before half time after we'd been battered. Perfect!

Re: Nick Blackman Appreciation Thread

He played well, he was MOTM but was hardly mind blowing. Had that been a good team performance, I doubt he would have stood out at all. I really don't think he's that good and he made some bad mistakes in the game too, but it's great to see him improving. After the stick he's had recently, most of ...

1-0 to Reading, penalty that Le Fondre puts away.

An ugly, bad tempered game. But 3 points to us

Re: Marussia F1 link-up

It's not necessarily about attracting lifelong supporters, just about growing the brand so that 'Reading FC' as both an employer and as a commercial entity is instantly more recognisable across the globe. That's why sponsors pay so much money to have 'tiny' logos tattooed across F1 cars... It seems...

Re: 58min 28sec long documentary about RFC

Enjoyed it actually, apart from the slightly cheesy ending (but what would you expect).
Some half decent shots of the fans singing at times.

Con Air is better, although Nic Cage is delightfully rubbish in both.

Re: Match Thread vs West Ham (A) sponsored by Kaspars Gorkss

Pog was clearly signed by Anton, not McDermott. Pog also told the papers that Man City would beat us 10-0. Then told the press that McDermott wasn't a good enough manager for the premier league. Whether any of that is true or not, you don't want your players saying that. And lets remember that his ...

Re: Match Thread vs West Ham (A) sponsored by Kaspars Gorkss

his distribution is terrible  Hardly. He's being asked to play it out the back towards Gorkss. No, he's had three bad goal kicks/kick outs already this game and had a couple at the start of the midweek vs man city as well. It's definitely something he needs to work on.......still good shot sto...

Re: Bye Bye Ian Harte

Hasn't been good enough for about 18 months. Absolutely clueless!! He was a massive part of our success last season, especially in the final 5 months! He was always going to be out of his depth this season, just as the majority of the team were [under McDermott]. Nope, he was never great last year ...

LightwaterRoyal
cpmurph Solid Championship LEFT back, especially in the 2011/12 season. The calm way he slotted that penalty 3rd goal at West Ham away last season summed that up.

It was always only going to be a couple of seasons given his age.

I think, until the transfer window, speculation on who our rivals will be (and whether we'll be anywhere near promotion ourselves) is pointless
