Hector own goal

I couldnt be more gutted for Feds and so immensely proud of the boys today, Hector and Williams were just unreal. What i did notice however was that there was a tiny deflection off Hectors foot which put the ball through Feds legs. Or am i just seeing things? As Feds adjusts his body to make the rou...

FA Cup Semi Final Arsenal Upsets.

Thought I would look back to see Arsenals recent (ish) FA Cup semi final history and if it offers us some hope for Saturday. And it does... 2014 - Arsenal 1-1 Wigan 2009 - Chelsea 2-1 Arsenal 2005 - Arsenal 3-0 Blackburn 2004 - Man Utd 1-0 Arsenal 2003 - Arsenal 1-0 Shef Utd 2002 - Arsenal 1-0 Middl...

Re: What is the point in HRK

Remember when this post used to be about HRK and not a pathetic argument about who said "will/or/shane long can score goals......"? Snow & Ian, no one cares, please pipe down. boring. Back to HRK for a second and i think it speaks volumes the fact the topic has gone so far adrift that ...

Re: Back from the stream (Derby)

Glad to be through but.................. Cox - You weren't good enough for us first time around. You're lucky we had shit manager who was prepared to spend money on you. Obita - You aren't a winger and you aren't a full back. You're not going to make it, I'm afraid. Blackman - you are just that. No...

Re: The Yak

Agree with most. Very decent player at this level, regardless of age. Although he has being playing at a "lower" level recently, he still put up good stats & by all accounts should be match fit. One major disagreement was after reading a Tilehurst article today that Yak and Pog could n...

Re: Nathaniel Chalobah

Excellent signing. He will add that bit of creativity we have been lacking in the middle. Guthrie just doesnt seem that bothered/or never fit & Karacan is way away from full fitness. We can't expect Karacan to be back to anywhere near where he was before he got injured. He will need a few months...

Re: Nathaniel Chalobah

Worth a watch on youtube link below. He seems very composed for a young lad. His goal on 2 mins on the video below is impressive. Then that goal vs Leicester. ...Well. Take a bow. He actually looks very good going forward. It appears he is thought of as a DM sort of midfield player, but im not so su...

Re: Middlesbrough (H) - FAC Match Thread

Excited to see Pog in today actually. Looks like our strongest bench of the season? Looking at the squad now, its not half bad. Add Mccleary in and we do have a decent team here. Amazing how, now Mr Adkins has left, players are actually getting fit.

Re: Match Thread Reading v Watford (H)

As you can see, sacking Adkins was totally the right call, because it was all his fault right? right? I actually look forward to playing in league 1 next year, then we can actually win some games, right? right? You really do talk shite. This is the continuation of 3 months of sub standard performan...

Re: Watford (H) Prediction Thread

New manager, everyone needs and wants to impress, the warm-up looks incredible. loads of kicking it to each other. Game kicks off, we get an early goal, Steve Clarke looks to be the messiah, some desperate defending for 75 minutes, sneak a counter attack in at the end and so I'm going for 2-0 RFC. M...

USA_Loyal_Royal How good is the style of football he employs? Is it more direct and hoofbally like mcdermott?

Re: Steve Clarke

The assistant manager/backroom staff he has in mind are at other clubs. He said anyone who knows his career would be able to work it out. Who are they? Kevin Keen. He was assistant with SC at West Brom. Now at Fulham, working with their academy, so wouldn't have thought it would be much of a strugg...

Leeds a Cup Final game?

So I just stumbled across this Leeds article. It's about.... well... themselves. Now when push comes to shove we will all obviously have a biast outlook of our beloved team, but I really could'nt help but laugh out loud having read what Leeds Utd fans think of themselves. Anyway, not that I or you r...
