Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

If new ownership does occur, can we please not only remove Dai Yongge but also discard the notion that new developments don't warrant new threads? Currently, discussions on the potential ownership change are scattered across three threads, perhaps even more, because people are hesitant to create a d...

Re: Summer 2023 Transfer Speculation

As far as I’ve heard the only *likely* move besides McIntyre’s departure (as of right now) is Smith also departing. Besides that it’s the usual youth loans, Boyce-Clarke off to Rochdale being one of them with long term injury to their number one and only one other currently in on loan.

Re: #SellBeforeWeDai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group

Is anybody keeping up with this Reading FC Propaganda Department account on Twitter that SBWD are running (I’m assuming so anyway given maffff’s previous post)?

I’m not entirely sure why it’s still going. Nobody is really engaging with it, and, it seemed a pretty odd thing to try and execute anyway.

Anthony Smith @smudgersport - 19:41

Hearing Gymshark's Ben Francis is on the verge of becoming the sole #readingfc owner. Name has been mentioned for a while in connection with William Storey and Genevra consortium, and I'm told a deal is almost done.

Yes please!

Re: Confrimed - Abbey and Holmes going

Have posted the same in the rumours thread but also heard Abbey > Forest and Holmes > Luton. Holmes should be confirmed over the next few days, Abbey likely later.

Hadn’t heard about the Olympiacos loan but suppose that doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things, can’t see him returning here.

Re: Summer 2023 Transfer Speculation

Pepe the Horseman Latest rumour is Abbey to Forest, straight on loan to Lympiakos to hook up with Omar Richards. And Holmes to Luton, back on loan to Reading.

Have heard the same (besides Abbey heading to Olympiacos - but suppose that detail is irrelevant either way)

Re: Do you agree with todays pitch invasion and match abandonment?

Proud of those fans today that stood their ground and that they didn't whimper off. It had to be done. I remember Blackpool doing the same and it eventually ended up contributing to the Indian owners selling up...,.so here's hoping. Blackpool supporters wanted the Oysten's out, not Indians. As one ...

Re: Confrimed - Abbey and Holmes going

Worth noting that neither are confirmed - Selles said Holmes has been given time by the club (/him) to make a decision while Abbey doesn’t want to leave despite being subject to bids from numerous clubs globally.

Re: Do you agree with todays pitch invasion and match abandonment?

In agreement with it.

Just unsure as to how much it’ll achieve given Dai holds all the power.

Part of me worries that he’ll consider the protests as disrespect and even more reason to spite us, but, we can’t simply remain passive.

Re: “ Sell before we Dai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group v2.3b sponsored by Sports Direct Tennis Ba

NathStPaul The wet blanket brigade behind Sell Before We Dai have suggested going on the pitch after the game.

You absolute pussies.

You mean like the protest vs Peterborough that also happened after the game and did absolutely f*** all and ended up just looking silly?

What a brilliant idea!

Re: I've lost count - Embargos, HMRC Payent defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

Apologies. Had previously posted on wrong thread: Former Reading reporter Ji-Min Lee tweeting that staff (non-playing) have been paid 25% of their total wages… Biscuit Analytic (similarly reputable, I believe ran by Alex of EPR) also tweeting that Dai has the money to cover the non-playing staff but...

Staff only receiving a portion of their wages today. Disgusting at any time, let alone this close to Christmas.

Although the subject matter is underwhelming, good on you for having the courage to create a new thread. Re: another, thants right another embargo for late PAYE payments - a new embargo

Why are new topics/threads on the board frowned upon?

Are discussions surrounding the most recent points deduction at all easier to find/respond to when spread across numerous random pages on different individual threads?

Re: Summer 2023 Transfer Speculation

NGW had a falling out with Toby Loveland following the game at Port Vale and Sellés felt disrespected on his behalf. Either gone or with the U21's in PL2 for a good while. Would hope it can be resolved. Lol, I thought Toby Loveland was your nickname for Selles. Who actually is he?! First team coach...
