3points Snow Hill to New Street is a 6-7 minute walk

Unless you go via The Wellington which makes it a 36-37 minute walk :P

Re: Wolves away

And where's Moor Street? Is that the terminus for trains on the Chiltern line? Moor Street is the last calling point before Snow Hill... Banbury [BAN] > Birmingham Snow Hill [BSW] Calls at: - Leamington Spa [LMS] - Warwick [WRW] - Warwick Parkway [WRP] - Dorridge [DDG] - Solihull [SOL] - Birmingham...

Re: Wolves away

When I looked the other day it was cheaper to do Reading to Banbury, Banbury to Birmingham New Street, and then BNS to Wolverhampton.... I guess ticket prices can change though.... Not that often - but be careful when searching - I _think_ that would involve changing onto a Chiltern Railways servic...

Re: Madejski development

Rumours of a new access road towards Greenpark. Could be a connection to the Green Park station or it could be an extension of Green Park planned which will see some of the car park become offices. A new pedestrian access route crossing Foudry Brook would have to be put in for the Green Park statio...

Re: Song for Clarke

Anyone know whether he responds to Stev-ee or Clark-ee otherwise asking for a wave is going to be difficult. How do you ask a manager who has a single syllable first-name and surname for a wave? Using his whole name just sounds too formal; Steve Clarke give us a wave, Steve Clarke Steve Clarke give ...

The Rouge Will the press conference be online anywhere?

Plenty of Sky Sports News streams about, no guarantee that they'll put it out live though but probably the best bet.

Re: POLL: Goal Music

Goal celebrations today were magical. No goal music \o/ +1 Sadly I fear today was a one off. Seemed to be having sound issues if the stupidly loud added time announcement is anything to go by. Yeah, PA was knackered. Treble and volume up to 11. Don't know if there hasn't been PA on the East Stand c...

Re: Season ticket/member card shambles

It's better than that - I'm pretty sure each turnstile is autonomous and can work offline once loaded with event data Must be every gate not turn style otherwise what's to stop someone with a ticket for gate 4 using it on the left turn-style and passing it though to a mate to use on the right turn ...

Re: Season ticket/member card shambles

18,000 wouldn't have to see one person as there are staff at each gate. The whole system can't crash as data is held at each gate, not on a central server. It's better than that - I'm pretty sure each turnstile is autonomous and can work offline once loaded with event data. When Fortress was first ...

Re: BFTG Millwall

Anyone know what was going down outside at HT? Away from the ground (I think) - lots of bangs and the stench of petrol, people were running over to the fence at the back of the east stand to try and see what was going on but nothing obvious - then strong smell of smoke / petrol fumes in the bowl dur...

Re: Confimred new owners of Reading Football Club

I'm surprised to see people involved in big business takeovers using Hotmail and Gmail, Can they not afford their own domain name? I think that's pretty normal practice in such proceedings, take overs and buy-outs by wealthy individuals are done through newly formed companies for perfectly legitima...
