Re: MATCHWATCH : Shrewsbury Town (a)

Sounds like Hutch's interview is the one we need to hear. Very revealing, various things going off that we don't know about yet... maybe it might show Hutch taking up as manager wouldn't be a bad thing. Tim says it'll be aired on Monday night. Monday night? Was this post match today? Dellor spoke t...

Gylfi Sigurdsson has joined Danish top division side Lyngby on a one-year contract. Given that no police charges were made, would we have had him back ?

England is a Top 8 side. They made it to the quarter-finals and met a very strong team, no disgrace in defeat.

Re: Qatar Hero - The World Cup 2022 thread

Where are all of the Southgate moaners? Waiting to pop out the woodwork after we lose on Saturday. Wouldn’t be surprised if he calls it a day if we lose to France but it’s another major tournament where we’ve eased through to the latter stages. Sure, it’s only what’s expected given the correspondin...

Wish I had been able to go. I now work alternate weekends and this was one that I was working. It says a lot about the current team that I am prepared to work weekends now. When these two teams were playing I used to do anything to avoid missing games.

The sooner bbc get rid of Rita the better. She’s thick as mince and can’t read aloud. Dreadful woman. She is utterly hopeless and takes forever to say something. She isn’t really a football fan. You can tell. Mick Gooding is little better. Turns up without a teamsheet and days stuff like Derby are ...

He was just being nice to everyone when asked if he would come back. He wouldn't want to come back to this mess.

Re: New Captain

I get the impression that most clubs are highly regulated with their players. Expectations that they will be a certain places at specific times and they very clear training plans and diets. Large part of the Captains role is to help ensure that players keep to these regimes.

Well now we know that the disappointing results and performances are not simply down to a bit of bad luck. There are clearly a number of issues going on at the club regardless of who is responsible.

Re: BFTG - Forest

Do we need to discuss what on the face of it appeared to be sh*thousery from Lowe in the first half. Was injured but was initially off the field of play. The ref made sure he was ok, only for him to request attention once he had walked back onto the field of play. Although to be fair he did end up b...

Bit of a geezer our Jay Also played rugby for Wimbledon a couple years back. Always loved his effort...especially getting sent-off at Wembley before even getting on the pitch....anybody know the back story to that? Abusive language to the referee as they went off the pitch at half time. Referee I s...

Re: Euro 2020

Southgate has been brilliant at so many aspects of management but he is just a bit too cautious and unreactive for me. Mancini changed things in the 2nd half - they were very deep in the 1st half but started the 2nd half about 15 yards higher up the pitch, and made timely substitutions. Southgate d...

I thought we were going to lose in 90 minutes 2-0 with Italy looking comfortable. So we gave them a fight and made it difficult, so well done England.

It’s not just the comms though, it’s the studio and buildup that BBC is vastly superior to itv as well. Yeah thats true. I mean Lineker has his faults but he is far better than that nondescript bloke on ITV. Also enjoyed Jurgen Kilnsmann's contribution on the BBC coverage. Absolutely. I thought Lam...

Towards the end of the game, on the radio commentary, Dellor made mention of Ady "smelling a rat" before the game started and he had now spotted it. He said he would explain later but as usual, I could get past the usual Rita reading out the texts before I switched off. Did Dellor elaborat...
