Re: RUMOUR: Jeff Cunningham

What a crazy rumour. Cunningham used to play for Toronto FC and all the supporters hated him. Lazy ball hog. Has been playing better lately but he is nowhere near the quality Reading need to rebound in the CCC.

Re: Did Federici ever do anything wrong?

^^^^agent. LOL...there are no agents. All negotiations have to go through MLS. Besides any agent would wait until he becomes famous and a big name club comes for him. Do some research, he is already being cited as probable Rookie of the Year http://toronto.fc.mlsnet.com/news/team_news.jsp?ym...

Re: Did Federici ever do anything wrong?

I'll give you guys a heads up. The keeper Reading staff should be looking at is Toronto FC's new draft Stefan Frei. He has already stolen the the TFC first team spot from the Canadian National team keeper Greg Sutton. This kid is amazing. Great shot stopper, superb hands, lightning fast, agile, aggr...

Re: Midfield options

I watched Monday's game on the internet. Reading lack two true box-to-box midfielders. Moreover, with the softening of the offside rules the defensive line has to be deep and leaves too much space of the centre-mids to cover effectively in modern football playing 4-4-2. My other club Toronto FC just...

Re: Potential buyer - MLSE

This story is all over the Toronto media; speculation is going wild. MLSE will not be interested in selling off the infrastructure. Why build a brand new stadium when you can buy one that can be readily expanded? With some investment in the club, new players and a loosening of the club's tight wage ...

Re: Potential buyer - MLSE

This is a hot topic here in Canada. According to other sources close to MLSE and published into todays Hamilton Spectator the three teams are real interest are Reading, Sheffield Wednesday and Southampton. Tottenham and Chelsea were just informational visits. MLSE will want the prestige of a premier...

Potential buyer - MLSE

Maple leaf Sports & Entertainment are apparently keen to bring their formula for business success and sporting failure to England. This article is in today's Toronto Star http://www.thestar.com/Sports/article/417801 The MSLE President Richard Peddie has been at the Madejski this week. This organ...

To describe that a mistake is generous. Are you at the stadium or watching it online? Just interested to know how you have seen the error in order to make this judgement? I need an idiots guide to watching on the net, that thread is too long Hi 17, try this streaming guide from Canada, it has a goo...

What can I say Lista? I was one small step ahead of the football media on this one :). I was genuinely surprised Taylor wasn't getting playing time. He is a proven EPL player in his prime, the kind of player the Royals definitely need in January. According to the EatSleepSport, West Ham and Middlesb...

SPECULATION - Is Matthew Taylor available?

This is not a rumour, just a question. I don't follow Portsmouth but I hear that Matts has only started three games this season. If Reading are going to lose Shorey in January doesn't he make the perfect replacement? Best penalty taker around in my opinion.

I'd have been disappointed if they didn't inquire. I have admiration for how Palace are handling this promotion. Expect more of this as Sidwell's reputation is growing. Personally I think pardew is playing up for the fans and Palace will sweeten the deal for Carrick to 3M and he will be off. He is o...
