Re: Wigan (A) Match Thread sponsored by Jason Roberts

When we've got dirge like Hope Akpan running the midfield, Premier League football was never in sight.

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

Not sure it's lack of sympathy tbh (not in my case). Think it's more about having your own opinion rather than being told what to think. No amount of IndependentLOL reports will ever convince me that some of the LFC fans were not to blame for that day, as too were the shambolic OB and the football ...

genome I'd love to see Stevie G lift the Premier League trophy. Mostly to spite sandman.

Re: Team For Wigan

JakeTheRoyal Why not give Blackman a shot up front, he might win more headers than that Russian Donkey and he won't spend half his time on the floor

Pseud O'Nym It symbolises the blood of Jesus. Either that or international socialism.

Reading have always been the club of socialism, none more so than when Karl 'Marx' Sheppard was leading the line for us.

Re: Team for next season

Reading4eva I think we should ship quite a few out even if we do go up. I cant see the point in keeping the Pog in the Premier League and should anyone be daft enough to buy him we should bite their hand right off

Thankfully you aren't the manager.

Re: Team for next season

Love us to sign Alejandro Faurlin from that list, think he would be perfect. Most of those on that list should be offered new contracts thought. Others I wouldn't mind are Jordi Gomez Baird Diego Poyet David Lopez Orlandi Eagles Jacob Mellis Also some good realistic players on a free from other div...

Re: BFTG - Clinging on to 6th place

McCarthy did well except for the goal. I thought McCarthy had a superb game. Not sure what he did wrong for the goal? He let it in without diving: it was a massively unnecessary error. If he had been awake he would have stopped it. I sat directly behind the goal, quite high up and I struggled to se...

Re: BFTG - Clinging on to 6th place

SPARTA McCleary and Obita also excellent again tonight.

I thought McCleary was distinctively average in all honesty. He was neglectful of his defensive duties, and didn't exactly impress too much going forward.

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

Scouser accusing others of double standards  Because they treat Heysel and Hillsborough in exactly the same way. You lot bring a new meaning to low life scum. As Juve fans said - Sheffield 1989, God exists. Absolutely pathetic rhetoric here, makes you look like an idiot. Heysel, Munich and Hil...

Good to see a respectable team win today - hopefully for the good of the game they can win the title over dull and nothing clubs like Man City and Chelsea.

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

retro_royal LOL @ the irony in starting matches late this weekend. Along with asking fans to turn up late are they going to ask them to turn up drunk, aggressive and without tickets?

Pathetic.

I’d like to think I’ve been glass half full for much of this season but the last week has morphed me into Floyd. I still can’t snap out of it now. Even with RTG’s fully on, there is not a cat in hell’s chance we will make top 6. It’s uncanny how ours & QPR’s season has virtually mirrored ...

No Fixed Abode 8 CL semifinals for Jose now and 7 in the last 11 years for Chelsea. Phenomenal record.

Is this your first semi-final with Chelsea?

I know the last one was with Man Utd when you supported them.

Re: BFTG-Bournemouth

What was happening after the game when it was kicking off in the park outside the ground? It sounded like it was a load of Reading fans getting wound up with each other. There was also a group of Bournemouth "hoolies" hiding round a corner ready for a rumble, about 50m from the police sta...
