Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Not sure if this is a wind up but if it isn’t you’re really trying too hard here. I’ve nothing against northerners, I’ve something against tired old wind ups/cliches from opposition fans about the club, regardless of where they’re from Blackpool, or Fulham/Brighton. If I’m sat in the bus to or from...

Simon's Church Puscas weirdly reminds me of Hope Akpan, occasional moments of real quality mixed among mostly looking like a non league player.

I was thinking more Jesse Pinkman

It's hard to be optimistic.

If we drop into the bottom three, which is looking increasingly likely, we won't get out.

Re: Derby (A) Sat 4th Nov - Train Ticket for Sale

OK. It appears that people are not queuing up to go to Derby, at least on the train, so I'll take £25.00 for the ticket. With the Twenty's Plenty match day ticket for this game, this surely represents a bargain that is hard to pass up. Plus, just think how you will be able to boast to the doom-monge...

Derby (A) Sat 4th Nov - Train Ticket for Sale

I have a spare return train ticket for the Derby game on 4th Nov. It is for the 07.47 (outward) arriving in Derby at 10.06, and the 17.53 (return) arriving back in Reading at 20.09. I'm selling it for face value of £44.50 (I checked this morning and the price of tickets for the same trains is now £7...

Libero Guide

A shameless plug for a guide to away grounds, both here and across Europe. Written by an old Stoneham School friend (also the author of The Rough Guide to European Football ), he's just emailed me to say the page for Reading has now been posted. I think it's pretty well written and a handy resource,...

You're Bard In. Dep Reading Station 07.47. Arr Rotherham 11.05. First train all dayer for a while. Could end up a bit of a mess.

Is that cross country or via London?

Direct to Sheffield from Reading, then short connection to Rotherham.

You have been in the US too long.

Been abroad for over 14 years, myself, and coming back permanently in January. Going to be Y22 or Y23 for me. In any case, there's no place like home, is there?

You know we love you. But isn't it better to have your mettle tested rather than for everyone just to say how great you are?

Re: *RELEGATION WATCH*

I'd prefer Wigan to go down but if Fulham go down on goal difference to me, it would be hilarious, maybe I just can't get that chip off my shoulder. Would love Fulham to go down. I will never forget their fans singing, 'We'll never play you again' during their brief moment of glory under Tigana and...

The '94-'95 home game against Wolves also saw the debut of the ode to John de Wolf:

"Where's your caravan?"

A (very) short-lived classic.
