Re: Bye Bye Oster

this has just made my day!!!! maybe we can now have someone on the wing who can actually run!!!! What, like Kebe? The guy who feels it's OK to strike if he wants away from a club? Unfortunately you also need to be able to control a football. When did Kebe ever go on strike and suggest he wanted awa...

Re: THREE MORE GOALS

Stooper If Archie had scored that penalty, none of this would have happened.

Re: Derby Match Thread

Our best result of the season (in terms of final result - and away!) and it's so sour. Still, I agree there are some things about the fizzy pop league which will be sweeter!

Re: Derby Match Thread

Which site can I listen to Reading Live????? I'm not sure that you can. You can download something like SopCast and watch it. Both the BBC Radio Berkshire and Reading 107 sites are not broadcasting their live commentaries online - much to my annoyance. You could try RFC's official site commentary b...

Re: Derby Match Thread

ARRGH! Can't believe it - Radio Berkshire online commentary just cut out for "contractual reasons"!!! Just as they'd whipped me into a frenzy with the pre-match buildup!

Re: Is this the biggest game in Reading's history?

I'd say not, because we could win it and still fail. Sadly, I think the last game - at home to Tottenham - was the biggest. And we blew it. Yeah, I was thinking I should have put the most important two games in our history as today's great escape is a two-parter with needing Portsmouth to do someth...

Re: Is this the biggest game in Reading's history?

The biggest game in any club's history will always be the next one. Today we play Derby. I see what you're saying, if you mean that the manager and players (and fans) should focus on the task at hand each game. But in the broader view in the context of what it means for the club, the next game we p...

Is this the biggest game in Reading's history?

So, after being told for the last few home games that each one might be the most important game in the Royals' history (NO PRESSURE PLAYERS!) - presumably the Derby game is the biggest game in club history? Interested to know of any other games that might qualify for that honour... the game that won...

Re: So, any of you lot bouncing-off-the-walls awake too?

I had a great night's sleep and woke up in a positive frame of mind and looking forward immensely to today's game. i just hope that Coppell has rallied his team to a similar frame of mind. Living, in London I just hope that Radio Berkshire's online Player is working this time so I can listen to the ...

Re: The Over-reaction Thread

The whole tragedy of this sorry season is that it would have cost far, far, less to keep us in the Premier League than it will cost us to get back there. I guess it kind of balances itself out for each division - One or two of the right signings this past January or last summer to keep us in the Pr...

Re: The "Championship won't be all that bad" thread

If we go down it will be a great shame, given the hard work and the achievements of a) getting to the Prem b) staying up in the first season against the odds, against most people's expectations and in style and c)given the potential to grow which (a) and (b) seemed to have given us at the end of la...
