Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol Rovers (a)

I'm pretty sure the new owner's in waiting will be closely watching what's going on during the whole process and i'm pretty sure Mark Bowen will be in contact with whomever is going to be the figurehead and letting them know what contracts to draft up and have ready as soon as it gets ratified. I wo...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Lincoln City (h)

Fair game and result in the end, defo a penalty in the first half which may have changed the game however, Lincoln probably would've just shut up shop and it still would've been a draw. Generally thought we were the team looking to win the game with Lincoln happy to hit on the break and all in all w...

Re: Giant Ruben flag...

Didn't see Nigel Adkins getting a giant flag for doing a fairly average job. Holy Nath, why so negative bud!! Ruben started poorly but has overcome huge adversity and has done an amazing job in most fans eye's whilst the whole club has pretty much fallen around him!! The guy speaks well and isn't a...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Lincoln City (h)

Despite the heavy loss, I really don't think there's much to change for this. Yids should definitely come back in, whether for Mola or Dorsett is largely to taste though. I think Craig should probably come in too as its against a form team, but again him or Savage is largely to taste. Otherwise, fo...

Re: Who do we want to play next season?

Been in Canada for 16yrs now and before that i lived just outside of Harrogate for 8yrs and they were a Northern Premier league team back then getting 300 fans for a home game lol. Harrogate is an amazing town and a great area to live but its not a footballing town, pretty much everyone supports Lee...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Northampton Town (h)

Has to be the end for Button. I'd take JP shanking the odd clearance over Button getting beaten at his near post again (and again). Still yet to be impressed by Elliott. At 21 he's playing like a 17yo - a bit lightweight and clearly not comfortable wide left. His head drops alarmingly easily. Agree...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Northampton Town (h)

That win was crucial!! we probably need two more wins purely because Cheltenham and Port Vale won't go away!! Our run in isn't the easiest either. The next two being Bolton (a) and Lincoln (h) Bolton will be tough and Lincoln are currently top of the form guide. Then its Brizzle (a) and Barnsley (a)...

Re: Burton (A)

We've only taken 1.7k on 3 or more occasions this season and granted some of that is due to not having the allocations but they were Charlton, Portsmouth & Wycombe which are all nearby and easily accessible. I'll still stick to my prediction this doesn't sell-out  Hi RG30, normally i'm wi...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Northampton Town (h)

Expecting a close game, a draw or narrow victory. We do seem to up our game a bit against the better teams. Any result which betters Cheltenham and Port Vale will do nicely as another game chalked off the season. However, with Bolton coming up on the Monday a defeat would be pretty bad and may drag ...

Well that’s my safety net timing for flying in gone. Might be turning up to the ground with a suitcase ;-) I'm flying in from Calgary, Canada and land at 11.30am in Heathrow so I'm now buggered!!!! Luckily its a 10 day vacation so not a huge loss but totally gutted!! Only been back 4 times in 16yrs...

Wow, utterly shocked to the core!!!! There goes our Cat1 Academy and any chance of attracting decent players for the future......if we have a future that is.

Wow, early season Azeez again!! Maybe switch him to the left which is his natural foot i believe and give Elliott a go on the right.

Craig's disappeared entirely but Elliott gets 90.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (h)

That first 45 mins was as bad as it gets!! the players obviously got a bollocking during the interval and came out looking much sharper and actually looking like they want to win the game!! Now my point is, why does it take a half time screaming at to get the players in that frame of mind to start ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (h)

Our tickets aren't £30. You're looking at £20 average once taking into account kids, students, seniors etc., then presumably you have higher stewarding and policing costs. But probably possible to envisage an extra £80k a game or so if people respond, or £400k over the remaining season. My bad on p...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (h)

I see the guy from the Chronicle has given a rallying cry for Reading fans to back the club to generate much needed income. With season tickets and an average home attendance of around 12,000 i guess, how much could the club expect to gain by filling the stadium till the end of the season IF the fan...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Lot's of Twitter chatter about a consortium fronted by Bergkamp, Koeman and a few others looking for a club in L1/L2. You imagine we'd be a great fit with our location, facilities and academy. A good academy in particular aligns with the Ajax way these guys would be familiar with. Pure speculation ...
