Wow, who's been coaching the "Triangles" these past few weeks!! Wings goal a few weeks ago and now todays first goal were super clever intricate passing at speed!!

Re: Injury watch 2024/25

Think the defence for Peterborough could loook like this: Yids - Bindon - Kanu/Dorsett - Garcia or depending on injury updates Rushesha - Yiadom - Bindon - Abrefa Dean, Kanu, Holzman, Stickland, Mbengue, Garcia, Dorsett all possibly out Also odd one, but on the club website under teams, Holzman isn...

Re: CONFIMRED - The final countdown

I kinda get it though. Family and friends come and go, as do we all, but you expect your club to live on in perpetuity... it's a permanent fixture of life. And a focal point of life for some, with tens of thousands of hours and pounds invested into it. In some ways it can be more akin to a person's...

Re: Reading FC accounts ending 30th June 2023

Something changing for the better somewhere in Dai’s fairyland? Presume now the club is no longer embargoed (for all the good it’ll do in the current circumstances). Does that mean we could go out and get another free transfer in? Not that we really need one, maybe a CB as cover. No, Carroll brough...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (h)

If we get anything out of this given the off-field kick in the gonads from last week, then it will prove that Noel is destined for a career in management regardless as to whatever happens at the end of the season. Haven't felt quite so flat for a game for ages. This whole saga still has plenty of t...

Re: Rumour - Reece Smith

Watched their game today against Rochdale 1-1 and Reece Smith is clearly one of their better players and played wide left and always looked to take on his player and to be honest most times he beat the defender only to let himself down by a poor pass or cross. Saying all that both Maidenhead and Roc...

Re: CONFIMRED - This might be it!!

There seems to be a fair few knowledgeable Nobers out there so lets say a settlement has been reached, realistically how quickly could a takeover be signed and sealed?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

Poor game. Savage MOM, Abrefa and Bindon good, everyone else bang average. Ref inept as usual. A point is the most we deserved. +1 It was a poor game but there were 2 occasions where we played some absolutely quality football in between the dross . I do wonder what it is with these refs that blow f...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

A tough frustrating watch but to be expected in our current situation i guess. The youngsters are still learning and lack consistency and our senior players are in need of a rest! They now have a 2 week break and hopefully a chance to recharge the batteries, then Peterbrough at home with no excuses ...

Re: Injury watch 2024/25

Mbengue out for 6 weeks with knee injury, Holzman for a month. Mbengue could be gone for season, fell awkwardly v Exeter. Holzman has fractured eye socket. Agree - & pointless rushing him back if the season has gone by then. Deano should be back after the break I'd imagine....its already 5 week...

Pepe the Horseman Bodin looking lively tonight.

Much better from Bodin tonight, i guess his fitness levels are getting better plus getting used to the way we play. I hope he does well as he could be a useful free signing at the end of the season.

Re: Injury watch 2024/25

Losing Craig sucks, but he didn't play midfield all season. The midfield will need back up, however we do have Senga and Sackey in the U21s and from what I've seen of them they are more than worth a go as cover for the first team boys. Let's face it, our Academy has done us proud this season and i w...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (a)

Yeah Elliot definitely adds a lot Could be choosing between Savage, Knibbs, Wing, Craig and Elliot for 3 midfield places in a few weeks Howdy Hound, it's actually pretty crazy that even in our current plight and the fact we haven't been able to purchase players for the last how ever many windows we...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (a)

Elliot has been a huge miss and getting him back into form could be the difference between getting into the playoffs or not. Wing hasn't been the same since Elliot got injured and neither has the midfield.

Re: Rival Watch

A few teams recently have stopped us playing by man marking Wing out of the game. That tactic is dead when Elliott returns; he is the most important injury. I would personally continue with Craig at RB, as I don't think Yiadom or Abrefa have enough minutes to start regularly. Good to have a stronge...
