Re: Gomes missed targets

Miazga and Martinez I would have thought. Chelsea have quoted interested parties £20m for Miazga. Even a loan wasn’t likely. Martinez was assured of the no.2 jersey so again he was never available for loan. Oliveira and Baker were most likely two of his main targets. Baker - Chelsea wanted the majo...

Having recently been introduced to Bovril with half a stock cube, I’m really looking forward to those cold matches sat there with my thermos flask.

Maneki Neko Blue collar street food doing the match day food stalls. What a ruddy great idea that is.

C1871 season ticket holder runs the company. So it's nice knowing where the money's going too (i.e. to someone local).

Delay is what % of wages we pay apparently. Everton did us a solid and are paying 100% of Virginia’s wages. We were hoping Liverpool would be equally as accommodating.

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Hope we can see a lot more fuller advertising boards roundthe ground......even if it means making a few quid out of the bog walls. The Gourley regime was shameful the way things were left. The man was an utter turd of a CEO. Being CEO of ManU and Chelsea must have been a piss easy job when you have...

Re: CONFIMRED - Michael Morrison

Solid defender, good experience, a leader, wants to help the younger lads come up, scores goes and sticks his head in. Says he’s broken his nose this last couple of seasons and can’t wait to do it for us. Love that.

Birmingham fans are miffed he swapped them for us. Says it all. Happy days.

yeah its great. How bloody weird the whole thing is, but its certainly done its job Clever marketing. They were well aware about fans attitudes towards both large sponsorships and betting sponsorships. The mislead itself would have somewhat mitigated the overall sponsorship if they did put a logo o...

Re: The Local Journo Thread

Anyone else find these J-Low Q&A's a completely pointless exercise? "Hi Jonathan, are we in for this player?" "He would be a good signing but I don't know" "Hi Jonathan, how much money do we have to spend?" "Probably not that much" "Hi Jonathan, is t...

Should be a near sell-out in most games next season. Great effort that. Hopefully only a handful moved across for the cheaper seats and the majority are singers.

Time to forget Miazga. A club has come in for him and they’ve been told the asking price is ... £20,000,000.

Interest over.

Re: Will Gomes stay?

He chose to stay when he could have left a few weeks ago, according to Dellor. A club in the Champions League. Can’t be a big name, but still. But with these delays and his frustration now starting to show, who could blame him for going? He kept us up and I’ll be grateful for that for some time, but...
