Re: Greatest foreign grounds?

La Casa Blanca in Quito, Ecuador, home to Liga de Quito who recently have won the Recopa Sudamericana in 2009 and lost 1-0 to Manchester United a few years ago in the World Club Championship final. It's a lot of fun especially when full for the big games. Saw De la Cruz playing there last year marsh...

Re: Ex and Future RFC players in WC Finals

De La Cruz has played in a few for Ecuador I believe. Recently reached 100 caps too, though only by Ecuadorian standards, apparently a lot of their games weren't recognised by Fifa.

Re: Following on from the I saw Murty score thread

De La Cruz scored again on Wednesday night with another shot from 25 yards. Played as a left wing back before being moved to defensive midfield. Liga came back from letting a goal in in the first 30 seconds to winning the first leg of the final 5-1.

Following on from the I saw Murty score thread

I saw Ulisez De La Cruz score the other night in part of Liga De Universidad De Quito´s 7-0 rout over River Plate from Uruguay in the second leg of the semi final of the Copa Sudamerica after losing the first leg 2-1. Ulisez was bought on at half time to keep it tight with Quito 3-0 up but pushed on...

Re: Where are they now?

cmonurz Was Tony Roberts the loanee keeper we got who kept a few clean sheets on the bounce? Or was that someone else? Just before Marcus' time I think.

I think that was Ben Roberts who came from Charlton IIRC.

Season Ticket to Member Card

I've had a season ticket for the last 7 years but am moving abroad in september so can't buy one this year, however, I tried to buy tickets for some of the early games and I am being charged for a new member card as well. Is this standard procedure?

Re: Back from the game Burnley

Anyone seeing any similarities with the Wolves play-off? Play well in the first leg but still end up losing by a one goal margin and simultaneously losing our best striker. We then went on to struggle in the home leg and get turned over again...

Re: Reserves vs Lewes

Mixed result really. Shocking performance from the forwards but a huge improvement defensively since the last Lewes game. Baggie is (I think) a first year scholar so doing really well to have got games in the reserves and be scoring, although bear in mind this is a weird side given that we've got a...

Dirk Gently How depressing - Over 200 people more saw a gutless FA Cup perfomance by a second-string team than saw a superb fightback by a team with character in a massively entertaining game.

Yeah, but I saw Nick Cave, so I'm still up on the deal.

Re: Sack the PA bloke

Though, to be fair, the playing of Sigur Ros did brighten my spirits for a short time, probably the best bit of the whole game for me.

Mine stopped working one game last season so I spoke to one of the guys in red outside the gates, who let me in, took my details and gave them to the club who sent me a replacement free. So just wait til it wont let you in and you can get a free one then.
