Re: Bradford away- biggest game in years...

Anyone have a list of our top away followings, and will this be our biggest ever? A quick google search didn't bring anything up...

Re: BFTG Charlton

Monotonous passing with no purpose, urgency, or end product. Hugely frustrating to watch.

Re: The truth about Royston...

It was purely performance-related criticism blown out of proportion by his entourage.

Re: The truth about Royston...

FWIW my brother called him a sh*t cnut in the queue for Q bar the Friday before the Leicester game and Roy got him banned.

Re: Yeovil Away

I'm not worried about getting in, I'm actually going with a neutral anyway, so that won't be a problem. But I need to get my tickets first, and I'm concerned I overdid it on the "We're Yeovil fans living in Bristol" email, and they've put me in the suspicion pile, totally ticketless.

Re: Yeovil Away

Yeovil now aware we're buying in the home ends. They said "wheels are in motion", whatever that means. They'll either let us in, move us, or refuse us entry. Might be better to call before you set off. Where did you hear this? I'm kind of in limbo, I bought two tickets and put in my RG bi...

Re: BFTG - Bolton (a)

Fans singing for Alfie whilst he wasn't on was annoying to say the least, as was all the anti-McAnuff. Twats, end of. To be fair, the only time I heard Alfie's name being chanted was when he was on the touchline..and McAnuff wasn't at his best today. Not that I condone either. Enjoyed the game thou...

Re: Fantasy Transfer Market

So, just a bit of fun You have £10 million to spend for Reading FC on transfers next season in the championship. REALISTICALLY who would you buy if you were Adkins? My choice would be: Lewis McGugan (Free) Kemy Agustien ( 2m) Jordi Gomez (3m) Aaron Cresswell (2.5m) George Boyd (500k) Harry Kane (Lo...

Re: Man city (a) predictions

To the person who asked when there'd been longer odds, Blackburn were 28-1 to beat Man Utd last December, and they went up there and won 3-2. Never say never.

Would be nice if his kicks had made it past the halfway line or stayed on the pitch more often.

Re: Portsmouth fc

You know someone's lost the agrument when they start wildly hypothesising about future events. I'm clearly not going to change your point of view. You're clearly not going to change mine. For every minute of hurt inflicted on my club because of their fiscal policies I wish them the same. Portsmouth...

Re: Portsmouth fc

I'm not knocking your opinion I'm merely arguing against it. On my various trips to Fratton and Portsmounth I've found the fans voilent and ungracious. Since all this shit has come out I've also seen them utterly convinced they've done no wrong. Be more happy if they agreed to recind their FA Cup w...

Re: Local "Reading FC" songs

The guy who co-wrote the last one, Mike Rowbottom, I actually know quite well. I advised him with regards ro everything which was wrong with that song, but he didn't listen. Not that it could've been saved. It was doomed the moment the idea was implanted into his head. I mean they didn't even get ou...

Beat Aldershot 1-0 in a friendly thanks to McLeod (used to be at Barnet). Kitson not involved. Brian Howard was in midfield, though. Portsmouth XI: Morris, Ben Haim, Webster, Sallaj, Harley, Djilali, Lawrence, Howard, Harris, McLeod, Rodgers This is the quality Portsmouth have been attracting: &quo...

Re: SIGNED - Adrian Marriapa

Gorko is first on the team sheet, no doubt about that. Will be interesting to see which of Pearce and Marri join him. Why? Pearce was our best player last season, fully deserved his award. Gorkss at times looked shakey, and was exposed far more than Pearce was, IMO. Must be a reason why Warnock loo...
