Re: Rival Watch

The knives are out for Disco the manager on the Watford messageboard, which is probably fair given his lack of experience and seemingly non-existent use of tactics. Hopefully they persevere with him for a decent while longer, similarly Tindall at Bournemouth. Now? I’m not sure I’ve ever felt so disc...

Re: Rival Watch

I'm smelling a Watford collapse here. They've hardly been in great form and, coach doesn't seem great, and are fairly toothless upfront bar all the penalties they get awarded. Would be useful for us if they'd obligingly go on a bad run.

Re: Ex Players

Yeah people have said an awful lot about Aluko, but never once have I seen anything about him being a troublemaker, he's always been very professional in interviews, and even accepted his year in exile without moaning.

For trouble-makers I'd be looking towards Stam era signings.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bournemouth (h)

Rax More than happy to be proved otherwise, but that's the best half of football I've seen from Reading since Coppell.

Exception being first half League Cup v Arsenal in the 5-7

I've said the same elsewhere, I agree.

Edit: I limited it to best first half.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bournemouth (h)

Good win. 4 or 6 points out of Stoke and Brentford and we can dream big.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bournemouth (h)

Why the hell did they take off their best player?

Also this could turn into a bloodbath.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bournemouth (h)

Hahaha they had to turn down the ref mic several times there to stop Morro from being overheard too much. Bullshit yellow though.

Joao really goes from seemingly asleep to creating an opportunity out of nothing in an instant.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Coventry City (h)

Pauno suggesting Olise could be out for a long while. It didn’t look too bad. It effectively ensures he won’t be moving anywhere this month though. Meite and Yids back at the end of the month. Moore next month. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I reckon he'll be back fit very early next month. Pro...

Re: Rival Watch

Top 9 minus Stoke looking like they're starting to pull away a lot.

Bournemouth's form is dire. 5 points from 6 games (with a 1-0 win vs a 10 men Wycombe beforehand), only 3 goals scored. Revenge month looking like it could deliver a decent haul. Not convinced by Watford either.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Coventry City (h)

How does Meite get back in this team. Laurent and rino are undroppable. swift ejaria and olise look to be forming such a strong understanding. I just can’t see how he’s going to get back in the team. It's a nice problem, but when Joao is playing Meite's direct threat becomes incredibly hard to cope...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Coventry City (h)

Revenge month couldn't start much better.

Joao with 3 goals and 1 assist in the past 2 games, Swift with 1 goal and 1 assist. Having them both back is massive.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Coventry City (h)

Can't help but feel bad for Baldock, his confidence must be shot and he's in one of those runs most strikers get where you just can't buy a goal.

Nonsense yellow for Morro.

Visible panic in the Coventry defence whenever Joao gets within 2 metres of the ball.
