Re: MATCHWATCH : Coventry City (h)

Joao is too good. There isn't a CB in the league that he can't bully. The complete striker.

Re: Rival Watch

We really need to get 6 points out of the next couple of games. I guess this loss sort of confirms that there are only really 8/9 teams seriously in the running for playoffs, which is nice. If we're still in the playoffs come the Wycombe game then automatics may be possible. Realistically only Boro...

Re: Rival Watch

Norwich aren't out of sight, but are quickly disappearing. Lots of lucky wins in the first half of the season, but getting into their rhythm now.

Bournemouth harshly down to 10. Lerma should be banned for our game if it's a 3 game ban.

Re: Rival Watch

Good start for us, Middlesborough and Stoke at the only two non-top 6 sides that I'm significantly worried about making a charge for the playoffs, hopefully they'll continue to drop off What's a perfect round of results for us? Birmingham beat Boro Hudds beat Watford Blackburn beat or draw Stoke Bri...

Re: Olise being sold for £8m?

Well Michael’s saying the right things and basically I don’t think he’ll go be going anywhere this month other than for a weekend in Preston. https://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/reading-michael-olise-transfer-latest-19634521 Also, if there is no bid this month from the host of...

Re: Rival Watch

3/4 points off the automatics at the half way point is a very good place to be given the injury crisis we've endured so far.

2.5 years worth of sky games at the half way point, quite something!

Re: BFTC - Huddersfield

Not a massive fan of HRK, he just didn't switch it on enough for us, however I will defend Gunter. He was a good player for the level we are at and always gave it his best. At very few to no points while he was playing for us would I describe his position as one of the top 50% most problematic in ou...

Re: Olise being sold for £8m?

Wallbank confident that no-one has triggered a release clause for him so far. £8m must have been incorrect, or a decent nudge lower than what it actually is. Or an agent's ploy to get a tonne of attention on his client.

Re: Olise being sold for £8m?

The Athletic confirms that he has an £8m release clause. ‘Reports’ rather than ‘confirms’ surely. Unless the club, the player or his agent go public it isn’t confirmation of anything other than another journalist repeating what someone else said. They phrased it pretty strongly and had spoken to Bo...

Re: Rumour - Olise to Leeds

snip snap I think you are probably right. We think he is amazing and worth £50 million, but he'll probably go to one of the promoted teams in June for less than half of that, and ironically, we will all cry. Trick is to be one of those three teams. With such a young squad ready to be pecked apart s...

Re: Injury watch 2020/21

Swift coming back will be great. Realistically he can rotate into any of Olise, Ejaria, Laurent, and Rino's positions (plus Meite's at a stretch). Between the packed fixture list and his talent it's hard not to see him playing the majority of games that he's fit for.

Re: Back from the actual game

Just pray we can keep him past January.. It`s going to take a serious amount of money for us to accept on offer, the way to push our promotion push off the rails would be to let him go. Could easily see a 20 million bid coming in. Just pray we can keep him past January.. It`s going to take a seriou...
