Re: FAO Pitch Invading twats

Running onto the pitch to celebrate with your own players or run across to the tunnel or in front of the directors box? Understandable that some want to do this (even though beating a League One team doesn’t really warrant it - save it for promotions & silverware). Running onto the pitch then st...

Re: FA Cup 5th round...

Rubbish. Utter rubbish. But at least we have a 100% record away at Championship clubs in the FA Cup in 2015.

Re: Steve Clarke

"Moderately whelmed." A solid 6/10. It was time for Adkins to go. Decent manager at the club at the wrong time. Will probably do OK at his next club. Good luck to him. Hard to see Clarke as a significant improvement but happy to let early results & performances speak for themselves.......

Re: Season tickets 2013/14

Just moved from 190 to 185. Well worth 15 minutes of hold music for that. I hope this will give me a considerably better view of some of the suspect offside decisions. And of course it gets me that little bit closer to Royal Lady. But there are some positives too.

Re: Newcastle (H) Predictions

Taking the wife along usually results in us losing after a winning run. So for her first game in several years I can confidently predict the traditional reversal in fortunes and a 3-0 win to Reading. If she wasn't going it would be 1-2.

Exactly the same situation here. Got about 100. Happy to give them away to anyone who wants them otherwise it's the recycling bin next week. Great to see names like Robin Friday, Steve Hetzke, Lawrie Sanchez, Steve Death, Kerry Dixon and Trevor Senior on the team sheets but apart from that 2 minute ...

Re: I hate this game - back from Wembley

The choice of, and then complete hash of playing, that "Don't Stop Believing" song cost us the game. It took the players and the fans until the 2nd half to recover from that cock up. Harte must have been pondering on that when he got outpaced instead of blocking off the run. Poor defending...

Re: Cardiff (a) - 2nd Leg Play-off Match Thread

Great away performance although even at 2-0 it was hard to feel comfortable. Everyone worked hard and we toally deserved the win. Cummings in midfield? Again, a revelation. Not spectacular but did the basics well. Webb did a good reffing job, perhaps we were slightly fortunate but he certainly didn'...

Re: Cardiff Home Game Play Off thread! COME ON!!!

Reasonable (but not promotion material) performance which was devoid of any creative spark. Lots of huff & puff and long balls and not enough imagination. McAnuff did provide a few flashes of inspiration but far too few in 90 minutes. The usual suspects worked hard throughout. And if Manset is n...

Re: Back From The Game - Ipswich Town

Tim Dellor seemed to find the only people who thought the game was an exciting, entertaining spectacle. As Maguire says, a pretty even match. Two fairly good teams cancelling each other out. Hard working team performance and it's probably fair to say that our numerous misses & half chances were ...

Not a B&B, more pricey but these people do 4 hotels each with different pricing.

Not central (in a leafy street) but we walked everywhere from there. 15 mins walk from the centre. No vespas screeching around at night.

Re: Fabio Capello still England manager

The FA were idiots to remove the break clause but I am OK with him staying. Remember that McLaren did not even quality for Euro 2008 with the same players so he's at least done better than that. He should forget about building a team for the next Euros and focus bringing through talent for the next ...

I did.

They'll win the next WC automatically. It's boring when the same teams win things the whole time.

I'm most definitely not a DM reader, but I don't see the problem with him asking that question. The simple answer is: watch something else if Honduras v Chile isn't your idea of a wild night in. Spacey mode: Honduras Chile was the early KO so if you were planning a wild night in front of that you'd...

Got Switzerland in the work sweep. Get in there.
The cuckoo clocks will be chirping in the cantons tonight after that victory.
