Ian Royal
2) possessionals require an apostraphe.

Yeah, but professionals may require an apostrophe - just ask Bodie n Doyle

Re: Back from the game.....

Bikey immense, esp in the 1st half - positively a clone for Vierra at his prime. Doobs fine too, Little in 15 mins did far more damage than Doyle ever threatened on the RHS. Wigan more effective in the 1st half (we never looked like scoring) - 2nd half we woke up, well a few started snapping around ...

Leroy was our most impressive fwd on Sat - KD scored the goals but Lita looked a handful, forced a great save n held the ball up well. Doyle gets a free passage into the team on the RHS regardless of how many goals he's scored after witnessing Rossenior's efforts there to date. All 3 fwds to play to...

Spot on TQM. The 5 man midfield, which in theory made some kinda sense in terms of a renewed attempt to solidify the team, turned out to have more holes in than your average golf course. Sure the players may not have have been as tactically aware as we wud hope but when the Famous Five put in a perf...

Wouldn't change one of those ratings BasMan - well on the money! Liked it when Soulman switched wings after Osty came on - caused them havoc 1 on 1. Half chance header for Leroy & poor shot from Hunt from the move of the game (which he started with a pass to Soulman who lasered it back to him) -...

... lucky Seol played a decent ball in. and lucky Doyle scored... Many players wud have cut infield rather than crossing from where he finally collected Long's wayward effort. He tee-d it up n trusted himself to deliver fairly accurately, flatish n with pace. Still, if that's called being lucky, ho...

If Bolton Wanderers were playing in my back garden I'd draw the curtains. I am far from a footballing snob but I'd hate to watch that long ball garbage every week. Agree, the highlights don't seem to capture the basic constant niggling thuggery that went on all match - push, shove, tug, spin the ma...

Agree with ya RR re today.

But if ever there was a player who you've got to take as a package, itz Leroy. Frustrating yet sublime!

That brace at PNE will always be memorable.

I see contined improvement in his workrate & team ethic - onward n upward.

It makes me laugh that you lot will pour your verbal vitriol on the likes of Alan Pardew, call him Judas, question his loyalty and so on just because he went to a bigger club than Reading, but on the other hand you embrace a guy who sold his best mate down the river just to save his own skin. Unlike most of SCs siginings, he seems quite likely to go straight in the 1st team on Sat - and not many of us would be unhappy with that prospect, given current circ's. That makes it in terms of fee, etc rather unique when compared to the our usual type of signing and as such should not be compared...

Gud t'see that most come to Praise DLC and not bury him - in agreement with most comments, esp re his 2nd half performance. As to whether he's an adequate replacement for Murts - well no, but then Our Captain's playing outt'of his Caledonian Skin and making 1 or 2 on here (me incld) eat humble pie, ...

Yep nearly in total harmony for Pieman 'cept for Convey. 7 for hin means he was as effective as Sidwell which I don't reckon he was, so 6 for Mr C. Sid was back to his best today. Defensively Seoul was much better today, most of their threat came on our left which is a reflctn of Convey's reluctance...
