Re: MATCHWATCH : Wrexham (a)

Bit surprised to see Wrexham has not sold out to home supporters, according to the ticketing section of their official website.

Re: Ex Players

6ft Kerplunk Bit harsh to call Convey hit and miss. Ok it took him a while to settle but then he was brilliant until the bad knee injury that he never seemed to fully recover from. Hardly his fault.

+1

Also one of the few (only?) Reading players to play in a World Cup Finals competition (in 2006)

Re: Giant Ruben flag...

My wife is a Spanish translator and says in Spain that "King of Castile" would be "El Rey de Castile". So "King of Berkshire" would be "El Rey de Berkshire". Hope that helps...

Re: World Cup 2018

This day without world cup is just stupid, what do we talk about. Aliens? How about this. When I saw the draw last night for the last 16 I was struck by the absence of any teams from Africa and the vast majority being from S America & Europe. So I looked back at the 16 teams that qualified for ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town v Reading, Play Off Final, 29 May 2017 (Wembley)

On the Reading fc website, it states that anyone wishing to bring in crowd flags and musical instruments, must have prior permission. Surely they don't mean the flags we were given at the Fulham home game? Or the larger playoff final ones sold in the club shop for £10? I asked the Assistant if they...

Tickets went off sale at 3pm and the SEE Tickets site is now closed. Anyone know the final number sold?

Re: Play Off Final Tickets

Think we may have sold quite a few more than the 28,000 odd from c5:30 yesterday. Just tried to get one seat on a member card and only the following was available: 524 Cat 2 & 3; 523 Cat 3 & 4; and 522 Cat 4. All Cat 5 sold out.

Re: Play Off Final Tickets

I paid extra for special delivery - any idea when the tickets are going to be dispatched? They have news about dispatching Millwall's play-off final tickets here; they'll probably put ours there once they've started dispatching them too: https://www.seetickets.com/customerservice#!/despatch-news Th...

Re: Play Off Final Tickets

A question about the final but not specifically about tickets. From Sky and the BBC's fixture list the game is listed as "Huddersfield v Reading". Apologies if this has been asked/posted elsewhere but does that mean we are the away team at Wembley and so will not be wearing hoops? We finis...

Re: Best wishes Bobby Convey

Shocked to see this news and thanks for the OP. I have family ties to the Greater Philadelphia area where Bobby first shone in the local leagues and aside from THAT goal against Millwall I will always remember his signing an autograph & having a chat after a home game in the 106 season. No coinc...

IN for 7. Would have taken several more S Yorks-based young Royals but £33 is pretty steep for a student aged 21 or over.

Re: Man Utd (A)

Northern Quarter is definitely a great place to go for a few beers on a Friday. Good suggestions already and I would add Gullivers and the Abel Heywood, but the latter will not be showing the footy. There will be plenty of bars around Deansgate showing Citeh play this evening! I'm off to Salford to ...

I will be happy, slightly pissed and enjoying a fine day out when I arrive; I will be happy, a little bit more pissed and still enjoying a fine day out at full time when we have turned over the false hoops 2-1 (Deniss 89 minute winner)

Re: BFTG Birmingham

Last Sunday I was somewhat nonplussed to see the response to my (and others) posts from people who were not at the Macron on the BFTG Bolton thread. The consensus from people who listened on the radio, or watched the few minutes of highlights on Sky, or looked at the stats was that those of us at th...
