Re: Podcast

I am reliably informed by the greatest technical minds the BBC has to offer, that... We can't offer podcasts because they remain the subject of an extended BBC trial. In other words, the concept of podcasts from the BBC has to pass a public value test before we can offer a wider range. A Reading FC ...

I'm afraid I've been off on holiday, and I tend to be the new Don when it comes to Hobnobbing.

So normal service will resume again.

You could of course listen to Radio Berkshire non-stop to find out who the guest is :D

Thanks Barry, I'm sure the chap reading the texts would appreciate more airtime :D It gets complicated because 6pm is the time we should join our shared programming across the South region (Solent, Kent, SCR, Oxford). If we stayed on-air until 6.30pm, people in Berkshire would miss the first half ho...

You've got me bang to rights Wycombe Royal. Hands up, it's a fair cop! As far as your points go 17 Bus, the problem with doing all the other sports between 5 and 5.30 is that that in itself would annoy many Reading fans wanting footy analysis straight away after the final whistle. So it's just a cas...

First off, we appreciate your feedback so apologies if your enjoyment of the Pompey game was spoiled. There are one or two points I would like to make though... 1. The Sports Review of the Year is a popular annual programme, and is enjoyed by people who may not tune in for every Reading game or the ...

I think what you heard was just a short and snappy mini-montage. Rest assured the full highlights are safely stored away at Berkshire towers.

And Reading-Liverpool will feature highly in our Review of the Year on 29th December and New Year's Day.

I don't think anyone could beat Jeremy Beadle talking about his 'great friend' John Majetski. But don't worry, all full-time staff here have to pronounce Madejski right (and Sailosi Tagicakibau) 100 times in their interview before being let on air. Nearly all of our Saturday travel comes from extern...

Redeeming myself in the eyes of Nobbers everywhere, I have it on good authority that Liam Rosenior is our guest this Friday.

In the meantime, there's a very decent interview with Kevin Doyle at bbc.co.uk/berkshire at the moment...talking about Stephen Hunt's tackle (oo-er) amongst other things.

Apologies for lack of Hob Nob activity. Nothing sinister...simply that myself and Tim have both been away on leave. Combine that with Joel and Ollie heading off for pastures new and there could have been a job here for Steve McLaren if he'd fancied it. Normal service resumed next week etc etc. Andy

Yes, with Ollie going off to the big smoke, I'll become the middle man, sandwiched painfully between Tim Dellor, our man with odd shaped balls Graham McKechnie, and you.

Looking forward to it. Ollie is working on my Avatar as I speak...
