Initially I wasn't going to sign. I live in Glastonbury and if I can't get to a game I have no choice but to listen via Reading World so as to how has the rights is rather immaterial to me, however I've been thinking. If another 20,000 (?) or so fans outside the immediate Reading area can't keep up...

I'd buy a DVD of every season, no matter how bad because there are always great memories in every season. The Ipswich home game was brilliant and the Sunderland away game was great, just for seeing the "passionate" and "loyal" Makems going deathly quiet when we equalised and then...

Did you see Trevor Senior at the Legends game? About as mobile as Mt Everest these days.

I can't help but think that the broadcasting rights issue is the straw that has broken the camel's back. Maybe it's not a significant issue in the wider scheme of things but in wake of all the other things people have moaned about, such as shit catering, premium rate ticket lines, changing the strip...

£100,000 is a big chunk of the budget for a regional radio station, even one from the BBC. The knock on effect for other areas of broadcasting would be massive. Remember, it does have a public service charter to uphold, even if the projected audience is small.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a372/andyhalls/RADINGF.jpg If you can read that, then nice one! I am making sure they understand my frustration as well! Is that a song request e-mail form the Reading 107 website? I might request "I Want The One I Can't Have" by The Smiths

672. John Madejski The owners of this website have already been contacted with our thoughts on this petition and I believe they will shortly be blocking it. Reading F.C always considers fans before any decisions are made and we truly believe that exclusive rights to 107 is the way forward (as do ma...

good point but if balls start being lost on the right, wont changes be made? im just worried that so far with the lack of players signed to the club from other clubs, we could end up facing the possibility of being relegated. though little is a good player, he could be replaced, but as this doesnt ...

I think you're probably close to the truth there Topfuller. Cynical speculation here but how can Madejski recoup some of the money he's sunk into the lame duck that is Readng 107? Simple grant exclusive rights for an arm of his empire where demand will outstrip supply. Charge premium advertising ra...

I didn't mean hang around hassling them, I meant trying to get them to interview me and just open up with the opinion that the decision to exclude BBC Berks is a joke. I have no problem with Reading 107 being able to broadcast live commentaries. I have a major problem with BBC Berks being excluded.

Normally I run a mile when I see an outside broadcaster sporting a microphone but I might just hunt out Reading 107 at the Middlesbrough game and would encourage everyone to make them unbroadcastable. I don't mean swearing or being abusive, just point out how BBC Berks are so much better and the dec...

Reading 107 managing director Jeff Lee said: “This is great news for Reading 107. Our coverage of the biggest season in Reading Football Club’s history will be second to none .” Hardly a tall order in a one horse race, Tosser. BBC Berks coverage will still piss all over it, even without live comment...

Mike Lewis was a serial administrative oxf*rd though. I remember about 6 months ago a Wigan fan posted on here warning of the perils of the Premiership turning their small time local club into a money grabbing administative spawn of Satan with no regard for the paying spectator and how it would sure...

Harping on about BBC Berks being rubbish proves people are listening to it, though. I suspect Reading 107 will not have the same problem. I've never listened to 107 in the past and if the quality of streamed commentary on Reading World is anything to go by, I won't be doing so in the future either. ...

Blunts fans didn't shower us with plaudits, a few coins maybe, but no plaudits. Got a few comments from Leeds fans in the car park at Elland Road, mainly about introducing my face to their fists, doubtful they could part their knuckles from the pavement, though. The Stoke fans were a decent enough b...

Eric hall was also Caskey's agent and is allegedly the sole reason Caskey didn't join Millwall after he left us. Theo Paphitis thought he was a complete oxf*rd and didn't want him representing anyone at the club. I don't have a problem with agents, except maybe the likes of Bernie Mandric who seem t...

Royal Yank Step forward Lampard, Gerrard, and Carragher - it is your fault. You couldn't strike a ball with power and accuracy from 12 yards. Simpe really.

I think you're being harsh on Lampard. Credit where credit's due, it was the first time in the tournament he got a shot on target.
