Re: Do you agree with todays pitch invasion and match abandonment?

What's it actually achieved ? Dai is the legal owner of the club. Mob rule isn't going to over rule the status quo. No oe is going to invest in any football c;lub with that concern in the backs of their minds. Sense of self entitlement is overpowering. Clubs rise and fall. That's the nature of spor...

Re: Do you agree with todays pitch invasion and match abandonment?

It had to happen. I don't think it should keep happening but I think a stand had to be made. I feel sorry for the Port Vale fans, they have been extremely supportive of out plight. It would be a good idea for a representative of our supporters group to get in touch with Port Vale's supporters to se...

14th in the form table, undefeated in 2 away from home now. Next 4 games are big. If we are out of the bottom 4 after the Exeter game, then baring points deductions we should be OK. Over the last 5 games we are 8th in form table. Over the last 5 games, we have the best form of the 12 teams that for...

Re: Watney Cup

I’ll never forget Charlton’s goal as it one of our all time heroes that made the mistake that lead to Bobby scoring. Steve Death had a habit when after collecting the ball, instead of drop kicking it upfield as every other goalie did, he would throw the ball in the air, let it drop to the ground and...

Re: BFTG Burnley

To be fair the ref - Lumley dropped the ball, picked up a bottle, had a bit of a leisurely drink, and didn't even look like taking the goal kick until he got booked. It was pretty textbook time wasting. +1 he was clearly wasting time Given Burnley were a man down for the last 7 minutes I would have...

Re: (Bad) memories of that game in 1995

I've never watched the Bolton game since the day, and don't think I will. Much like Crisp getting beaten by Red Rum in the 1974 Grand National (after the greatest performance ever seen in the race) it still hurts. I can park that hurt but have no desire to make it fresher than it already is. Daft r...

I remember some Sunderland boys playing up in the Tilehurst End that game, and when the Coppers sorted it out the Sunderland boys gave the Coppers attitude, and considering that Police violence seemed accept...

[Ian mode] I trust a professional ref over an armchair pundit [/Ian mode] Glad you now decide to admit refs are fallible. Thought you'd lost your marbles last week. You taken the idiot pills again Millsy? I never said they weren't fallible. They can make mistakes, they don’t always have a good view...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (a)

That was one of the worst displays I've been ever seen Is this the fault of the management or players just not being good enough ? My first away game in a long time , Shocking! Totally gutlesss performance by the team , but then they only played to the instructions of the manager. So who is to blame?

Re: The magic of the FA Cup

Over his time with us, I would say it was harsh to label him as a liability. Every goalie is liable to make a howler once or twice in a career and shouldn’t just be remembered for that unfortunate moment. The man was fairly solid between the sticks after taking over from Marcus, and who can forget ...

Amusing that the old bigot thinks he has any insight into whether I challenge racism in person or not. Or bringing up Rosa Parks taking a stand where she experiences discrimination as right (presumably because it was long ago in the US so doesn’t threaten him in his comfy white privelege), but foot...

Snowflake Royal. Cleaning up HNA one bigot at a time. 8) You need to learn how to understand and use the English language correctly first. You are one of the bigots on this site, with your attempts to condescend upon those that don’t agree with your point of view. Incidentally, were you the Jack Ru...
