I think there are clearly players in the squad that are not part of NAs progression plans Shorey Harte Ledge Hunt Pearce gaps in the squad that will need to be filled before next season. Ledge is beyond pitiful at PL level but he was excellent in the Championship. Wouldn't be gutted to see him go h...
Pogrebnyak McCarthy (He's young and English so maybe Liverpool will be willing to spend outrageous money, and Federici is excellent in the Championship) Pearce Guthrie (Preferably driven to his next club by me) Harte Cummings Tabb
We should cash in on him ASAP if he has 4 years left. I bet we could sell him for silly money.
Akins also said he reckons Roberts can be a force again next season. And remember how good he was in the Championship. He wins a lot of fouls and holds the ball up a lot better than Pogrebnyak.
At the start of the season I used to fall about laughing at the prospect of him as a regular PL starter. Slowly but surely, he's become one of our best players.
He needs time to develop however, and his career would go down the drain if he joined Cardiff now.
just dont enjoy the prem.too many prima-donna,s. anyway, was january that wonderful? It was FUN. I wasn't at Newcastle, but the last few minutes of the West Brom and Chelsea games were brilliant to behold. The brain still knew we weren't good enough, but the heart was full of joy and hope and not a...
McCarthy 10 Kelly 7 Mariappa 6 Morrison 7 Gunter 7 McAnuff 8 - Hands down the best I have seen him in a Reading shirt, better than the Cardiff away play off. Karacan 5 - He suffers from Leigertwood syndrome ie completely inept at Premier League level. Stop running aimlessly and waving your arms! Gut...
I am absolutely delighted that Adkins has noticed that Liegertwood isn't a PL player and left him on the bench. Bloody Akpan would obviously get injured however.
The goal where Guthrie lost it was hilarious. We just don't know how on earth to attack and that showed it to a tee. Southampton must think they've got a stroll in the park this Saturday.
Brilliant appointment imo. Got a few decent results at the start of the season and plays lovely football. He always seems very honest in interviews as well, whether the team have played well or not.
Brian is an absolute legend, you can't argue with 2 FA Cup quarter finals, a play off final and league title. However, this has been coming. Shocking results against our rivals for the entire season, 2 dreadful performances at home recently too. I was surprised he wasn't sacked in November/December ...
No doubting Leigertwood's influence in getting us into the PL, but how he gets picked every week in this kind of form is laughable. Booing or no booing, we're shit anyway and going down. If people want to book, fine, we've just lost 2 six pointers at home. No surprise. Prepare for Leeds/Swindon away...
I would keep him and then fire hIm if we got promoted  Harsh, but I would. He can't hack the Prem. bit like Korkss was disscarded by QPR and then us when it became painfully obvious the Prem was step too far. Would welcome Korkss back in the team if we get relegated next year without hesitatio...
Usual suspects, usual shit. And your enlightened view on today? What excuses/explanation can you give for players and management rolling over in the manner that they did today in such an important game? So either stop the insults and try debating the situation or don't bother logging on. Shock horr...
I left about 5 minutes early but today was the first time I have done so. My friends and I were saying that if people want to leave early, fine. They've paid to get in after all so it's their choice really. I am usually annoyed to see people leaving at like 1-1, 2-1 etc but today was a joke. Hopeful...
The Pog sending off could be a blessing in disguise though. This is where our strength in depth with attacking options could really come into play. Hunt and Church have just been waiting in the wings for this chance to show their Premiership quality. So it's not all bad. Is Church in the 25? If not...
