Smart idea, why not have one of those online petition things set up and 'signed' by fans from all over the country, at all levels, and deliver it to Mr A Blair MP, Prime Minister. Also sounds like something the Berks sports team should cover, in fact all levels of the media so its visibility is as h...

The Real Sandhurst Royal £5 - £8 a ticket might get a gate of £15k gate . Come on RFC do something for the fans.

I thought they normally make Carling Cup matches £5?

And Darlington will get 50% of the gate receipts so I imagine it'll be something like £10-12 in advance/

Stat confirmation

Heard it said on BFM this morning that tomorrow's Wigan v Reading game will be the first time that 2 clubs in the Premiership will have played each other in all 4 divisions. We 1st played Wigan in Tier 4 in 1978, in Tier 3 in 1982, in Tier 2 in 2003 and in Tier 1 in 2006 Is anyone able to confirm th...

It will just be for the benefit of TV in the Far East, surely? I would have thought so, should imagine Reading, ManU and Spurs are the most popular Premiership teams in Korea as they all have Korean internationals so it makes sense for the company concerned to outlay a little cash for some advertis...

Not STAR's problem but a lot of pain may have been saved last night had there been some publicity over the closure of the A38(M) exit from the M6. Yep that was not the best thing to find out about a mile ahead of the junction! And the diversion off took about 45 minutes to negotiate (its only about...

If Sonko hadn't been caught out of position he'd not of been in a position to slip over, poor defending IMO. Ditto for the Villa second, shocking marking from Ivar. You will get punished at this level. How about Soeul watching as the winger controlled the ball and then crossed it. For me that's 2 g...

Re: MOTD

Commented on us well. Hansen spot on talking about the sending off, basically wasnt a sending off but was a pen. Both him and lineker think we will stay up. Alan Hansen also suggested that if Sonko had not been sent of it could have been a different story. Gary Lineker and Alan Hansen think we look...

3 is violent conduct isn't it, 1 is a professional foul or are the FA really so dumb as to say a professional foul (many of which are highly dubious) equates to someone getting hit by a two footed lunge or forearm smassh or general punch up.

Stop alarming people

Please can the BBC Berks sports team stop alarming people by saying that Sonko's got a 3 game ban - it's only 1 game, thanks.

From what I've heard he is 100% worth taking a chance on, a few games on the bench and really getting to know things will hopefully help him calm down a bit - and he's certainly going to have to if he wants out of his Russian contract before 2009.
