Not claiming to be massively ITK but I do work with some mates of his, their take was that there was interest from low end champ/top end L1 clubs but they were offering less money than us, with no more guarantee of playing. So he chose to stick for a year.

Think they'll be mid-table - they had a set XI last year and players who were happy to be subs or bit-part players. They've signed a couple already and I can't see them getting that consistency back.

Rare 'greed with Kes... I think they are important for team building and figuring out tactics, but fairly useless in September or October. I think having 3 or 4 before a tournament is a good idea though. Interrupting the league calendar for two weeks is just frustrating when it's not for something ...
