Re: Ferguson sacked by Peterboro

Didn't their chairman give it the big one when we went sniffing? He'll get another job in league one when the next vacancy comes up. Wonder who they've got lined up? http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/04_02/SteveCoppell_468x380.jpg Seems Oxford Utd need to look out . . . . http://www.telegraph.c...

I agree. I thought they all had "Championship wage" clauses in their contracts. Perhaps he refused the lower wage.

I am amazed and not amazed by how far and how quickly you have fallen. For a year or so you were the underdog's model, now you have been forgotten. Forgotten? Well not by you and me. We're amazed as well, but most of the team you're referring to are still plying their trade in the Premier Lea...

Re: Back from the game - Cov Away

Finaly a win. Not a fantastic match but we reached average championship level and stayed there and Coventry were the first side I've seen this season, apart from us, who look like relegation contenders - in fact they were sh*te with some very poor defending. This post sums it up, we shouldn't get t...

He's not got enough ruth! When he gets that he'll be shittott.

Surely he's got too much ruth and he needs to lose it?

moo I'll enjoy it no doubt, just remembering what happened since preston.

Madstad to Nadderud But why Paul Hart? Football really is a funny old game!

Cos he will be cheap to run with no money for signings

And he's got a reputation (acquired at Forest) for developing youngsters.

It's tough when you're under pressure. His comments about experimenting and extending the pre-season can't have done much for team morale.

Dear Brendan. I've put a tenner on Leicester just to ease

the PAIN You see Brendan I lost big time following that inept performance at QPR, because I believed in you. I've seen some of your cute passing game, and in flashes it looks very good. So I thought sooner or later we're gonna beat some body and do it with flair. Sorry mate, I want the Royals to wi...

Re: How the current lot may develop under Rodgers

I've just read through this thread for the first time, and what stands out is Rodgers's praise for Henry. He said he even tried to bring him to Chelsea. So he expected Henry to play a big part and has in fact sent him out on loan. What's that about? I wasn't overimpressed with Henry when he came in...

Cummings and Howard, either they don't understand their mentor and what he's asking them to do, or they're not really good enough to wear the hoops. (yet)
