Re: CONFRIMED: Latest rumours Confrimed as Unconfrimed

North of the River Assuming this is the same Paul Taylor who is running things at Blue Horizons, who had been mentioned previously?

https://blue-horizon.com/ourteam/

Same person, new backers, according to the ToiletPaper (The Sun).

So we've replaced a manager and two coaches with one coach. Nice one.

No. We've replaced a Head Coach and 2 Asst Coaches with a Head Coach and 2 Asst Coaches.
The only gap is a U23s coach.

Wasn't Leigertwood the U18 manager?

Gilkes I think?

New conspiracy for you to ponder.

What if the mystery Chinese business man/spy is our Mr Dai? His flat is next door to Buck House, he hasn't been seen in this country for quite some time .....

Re: TAKEOVER MIGHT OR MIGHT NOT BE CONFIMRED THIS WEEK OR NEXT

Looking at the postings on x the guy posting seems quite genuine, but no idea if that’s the case. I can’t believe Couhig would discuss such sensitive matters in the stadium hotel. If the chap isn’t on the wind up it would paint a gloomy picture. Does it look genuine? I couldn't fund any track recor...

Re: Football Grounds

I don't do many away games. Can only count Swindon, Brizzle City, Cardiff, Ipswich, Hereford, Fulham, Brentford, Gillingham, Southampton, Brighton, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, QPR, Oxford, Norwich, Wembley (both) and the Millenium Stadium. Not watching Reading I can add Yeovil, Man Utd, Sheffield Utd, ...

Re: WiFi reception at the ground

I too had problems with getting any sort of a service on 5G inside the SCL. Then I did the sums. The best bandwidth on 5G is at high frequency. It is about 10Gbps. But the high frequency signal is very short range and is unlikely to penetrate the walls of the stadium so we are into the lower frequen...

Re: Ovie Ejaria

I suspect there is a lot about him that we will not find out for a few years, if ever. Every thing about his final months at Reading indicate a man who had serious mental issues. So, maybe people should give him a bit of slack.

Well, if the BBC is to be believed we currently sit top of the table on -6 points! So it's all to play for on Saturday.

Re: New owners' top 5 priorities

I appreciate that what this thread actually means is "what we, the fans, would like priorities to be". The truth is that the owners will have different priorities. Number one will be to get the finances sorted out so that the club is sustainable. Literally everything else is dependent on t...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

I've taken a few days to process the situation and I still feel a little uneasy about the group who have supposedly been given exclusivity. I haven't read the past ten or so pages, so some of this may have come up already. If it is Chiron Sports Group, their website notes they're funded by Apeiron ...

Re: SJM interview on Radio Berks

Hound I expect he still has contact with Howe. Be surprised if Dai sold for £20m atm but slightly encouraged by SJM bandying that figure

I stand to be corrected but didn't Sunderland go for about £25m? 20 sounds a fair deal.

Re: Oliveira traing with Reading

Norwich have just signed a new Swiss international striker from Germany, so that knocks Oliveira even further down the pecking order. Hopefully, the further down he goes the pecking order, the more likely the want and urgency to do so by Norwich to get him off their books will be..time will tell No...

GOALKEEPERS A. Jaakkola - lose S. Walker - Lose L. Ward L. Southwood RIGHT BACKS A. Yiadom - definitely retain C. Gunter - keep unless someone is interested, in which case lose. T. Watson - useful back-up but could go on loan LEFT BACKS J. Obita - let's see if he can return to form and fitness T. Bl...

Enjoyable performance despite the loss. The academy lads are testament to the poor recruitment policy in recent years. At least the team as a whole today played with a real spirit and tenacity. Full of character. Blackett has looked a different player in recent weeks. Lacked a target man upfront i....

Oh for a creative midfield player who can, calmly, pick out a pass and deliver it right to the perfect place. You know, a bit like Ollie Norwood. What if we had a player like that in our team.... oh, wait .......

26 year old Blackpool defender. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/qpr-and-reading-among-the-chase-for-26-year-old/ Clement must see Reading as having big defensive issues as it seems defenders are all the club are being linked with currently, despite the vastly bigger problems of not being able to ...
