Re: England vs Germany - THE BUILD UP THREAD

Germany beat a 10-man amateur side. Germany LOST to the bottom team of their group. Germany just about scraped a win against an arguably superior *Ghana* --- England are unbeaten and have only let in ONE goal - a total freak. If we will ever beat Germany THIS IS THE TIME. COME ON ENGLAND!!!...

Re: Standing at home games.

But is there a law that says fans can't stand in an all-seater stadium. Is that the decision of the club to allow that or the FA? It's the law that fans cannot 'persistently stand'. It's up to the 'club' which usually here means the safety officer and stewards at the ground to interpret what 'persi...

Re: Standing at home games.

It's decided this way. If enough fans decide to stand and ignore any steward (and idiot behind them) telling them to sit down long enough, then stewards give up and let people stand. If, as is the case at Reading on a normal league game, there are not enough people determined enough to stand that t...

Re: Back from the game (LIVERPOOL)

TheMaraudingDog LOL @ Reading fans going on about how bad the Liverpool fans were when only 400 made the trip.

700 on a week night when it's just shut down half of berkshire with snow and it's on TV is good, so be a good little plastic manc and phuck off you unreconstituted fascist!

Re: Aldershot

Aldershot also bizarrely have a rivalry with Exeter, and as i follow the Grecians a bit I saw them get beaten by the 'shots 3-2 in 2007. There support was pretty loud but in that kind of dull 'ultra' sort of way. It was a long walk back to the station and the station was full of Aldershot supportin...

Liverpool

I work in a job were I CANNOT take a day off work for the cup game in liverpool. I can get the train up (as it is unlikely I will be out of work early enough for any star coach heading north) but any trains heading south do not get me back in time for work the next morning. Are STAR organising coach...

Big Foot Clearly didn't want to offend their Muslim fans.

Why would Muslims be offended by the poppies?

Re: Who is the reading fan..

To be fair I don't think the St Pauli/Celtic link is as strong as it once was, though afaik they still sell Celtic stuff in the St Pauli shop, and Ultra Sankt Pauli have a link with Green Brigade, but that link is no stronger then any other link USP has with for instance Herri Norte Taldea (Athletic...

Re: Who is the reading fan..

My brother sent me a text asking if it was me, but it's not.

Is there any reason for the HSV/RFC link other then the fact that HSV hate St Pauli and St Pauli have a link with Celtic who Rangers hate?

Re: Evolving the atmosphere

Well done Dan for all the organisation, if you ever need a hand with any leg work send me a PM would be happy to help. The Club really needs to work out whats its position is on standing and in what parts of the ground. I know Star says its part of the conditions of the council license that they obe...

Re: Evolving the atmosphere

Despite the awful result this was a game I enjoyed more then most I have been to this season, including games we have won, so I think it should be carried on in some form or another next season, the question is where. The stewards in Y26 seem just as touchy as in Gu1 most games, this might be differ...

Re: Team Selection

As soon as you saw the team today did you not think we would lose? Some old rubbish bought back in and SHunt stays in the team after his 16th bad game in a row. Matejovsky has 1 and he is gone like others. I think Coppell has lost the plot. He claimed about 6 games ago that we are a one trick pony ...
