Re: New embargo incoming

Threat of admin is very real. Then you’ll see the mark of the man when potential new buyers want the club but want the stadium and training ground as well.

U21’s to First Team

For those that follow the U21’s closely, who and how many of the young lads look like they can come into the first team next season?

I suspect we’ll promote more than we’d have initially intended, as numbers are so low.

Re: Anyone For Chinese?

WestYorksRoyal Dai can't play hardball on the ground. A ground without a team to play there is worthless

Coventry is an example as to how Dai could play hard ball and we could end up without a home.

Re: League One - Your Expectations?

PATRIQT 05 May 2023 12:45 I honestly think if we don't get the recruitment and manager right this summer, we'll be in another relegation fight next season. So, zero expectations, hopeful Dai sells up and fcuks of ASAP.

Gulp.

Re: Potential New Owners

Exactly. What we need from Dai is a face-to-face interview and finally hear from him why he bought the club, what his vision/ambitions are for us, and for us to get some sense of where are with that plan. Even the Chinese CEO is hardly present at the SCL/Bearwood.

Old roof now gone and dismantled, and now the old uppier tier is coming out one piece at a time. Looking at it you wouldn't think they'll be ready in 2 months time, but they're on schedule.

Re: The dedicated Chris Wilder thread

The Daily Record say he’ll sign imminently. Posted yesterday evening: DanielM_Reports (blue tick) Breaking: #ReadingFC are now set to appoint Chris Wilder as their new manager. Understand there is a verbal agreement in place between the two parties - with paperwork left, as the last obstacle. Expect...

Re: The dedicated Chris Wilder thread

We’ll likely hear something official early next week. If the blue ticks are saying it’s all agreed, then it’s all agreed. Wilder has been at the training ground four times now, so they’ve obviously done a lot of talking, and now agreeing the back room staff. The lack of patience from football fans ...

Phenomenal getting £3.5m for Puscas, even if it won’t all be up-front. It’s much needed, plus the £1m for Luca Fletcher if his move goes ahead to Man City.

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

I think the club are silly for keeping the executive boxes in the south west corner. Turn them into seating and our away end can be the same as Leicester's with away fans in the corner and C1871 can be right behind the goal with the segregation in the south stand removed https://media.giphy.com/med...
