Re: You're the new Owner - What's your 2 Year Plan for Success

I suppose this is dream land, but I'd tie Selles down to a 3 year contract with big release clause; get us back to Cat 1, tie down our best players to improved longer term deals, and same for the young talent; and because in L1 for some bizarre reason there's no FFP, I'd throw £20m at the team to ge...

Re: CONFRIMED: Takeover collapsed; Back to square one

Smaller valuation on the club as well, which might mean there are more potential buyers. Unfortunately, Dai hasn’t cottoned on to that aspect and seems to think we have same valuation as we would have in the Championship. Not sure that's the case. The club has whatever the valuation is, and then he...

Re: #SellBeforeWeDai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group

At this stage, protests do naff all. We need to fill the stadium for the live game and hope to catch someone's attention, that we're a well supported club worth investing in! Instead of protesting, start putting your energies into raising money for the club, and start planning for the worst and a ph...

South Coast Royal And in comes Mike Ashley to buy the club at a bargain price rather than pay what he would have to have done last year.

Ashley only wanted the stadium to add to his portfolio and lease back.

Re: #SellBeforeWeDai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group

Protests achieve naff all at this stage. SBWD would be better served reaching out to potential interested parties, and trying to find a buyer; or find a group interested in forming a consortium. Delaying a kick-off, throwing poxy tennis balls, protesting with banners - it does fcuk all. Dai doesn't ...

Re: Takeover collapsed; Back to square one

Sanguine Layman here and maybe not wholly up to date - if Dai's assets have been seized, and paying players and staff was dependent on Dai making a monthly deposit, how do players and staff now get paid?

Apparently we're now surviving on the Olise sell-on money, which wont last long.

Re: Bowen sacked

I wouldn`t think this is the work of Dai, why should he care what happens at the club now?, if the prospective new owners made the decision surely that can only be a good thing regarding the takeover by having a nice little staff turnover. Regarding the legal action Bowen has broken football league...

Re: TAKEOVER ALL BUT CONFIMRED

I still fully expect Dai to crash the deal at the last second and then irrevocably close the club just to spite us all. That would be very expensive for Dai. He might be an utter spaz, but he isn't going to throw money away like that. There were murmurings last week the hold up may be stadium relat...

Great business with 9 months left on his contract. We're a selling club again. Get over it, and we move on.

It was from a BS source online. Dai/RFC do not own the Hotel, so it's totally irrelevant.

Re: TAKEOVER CONFIMRED AT LAST!...............(Only joking)

Hope his first job is to get rid of Bowen and Howe Bowen gets a lot of stick, but his fingerprints are all over recruiting this team and appointing Selles. We'd be in a much worse situation without him. And Howe’s job was to sell the club, which it looks like he has done Howe has been in it for him...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Some positive praise from Wigan fans on X, regarding them being played off the park by bargain basement free agents and academy grads. Thought Wigan's fans were very disappointing today. Hardly heard them. C1871 on the other hand were prenominal in the first half. A lot quieter second half, but grea...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (h)

Fantastic performance. First half we should have gone in 3-0 up. Not so effective second half but we defended well and the clean sheet a real bonus when we want the SCL to feel like a fortress again. Ehib is turning into some player as well; really like the look of him. Smith should have buried at l...

East Grinstead Royal Tim says Rob says Tuesday or Wednesday.

TD said Couhig’s side of the deal is done but not the other side’s. If he’s referring to Dai then nothing is done yet.

RC told a fan at half-time outside the East Stand, that it's all done pending EFL final sign off on Wednesday.

Hate suffering with anxiety. I'm planning to head to the ground at 13:30, and I only live a 10 minute ride away. For some reason I always need to be early. Now the usual panic sets in and I'm close to not going at all.
