Re: BFTG - WBA

I get that now, but what about back in the day when the people they were killing were only Nazis? I'll nibble! The people they were killing were people. Yes they may have been directed by the Nazi high command (also people, however evil), but they were fighting for their country for reasons they th...

Re: Something wrong at the club?

Clearly a work of fiction as they said 'look to the future' ... No less fictional that the diatribe of horsesh!t on here. We've also just signed a 21 year old from Man City... Would your alternative be: NH: Brian who do you want? BMcD: Washington, he's the b0llocks! NH: I'll ask... Thai owners: Foo...

Re: Something wrong at the club?

NH: Brian the owners would like a list of potential targets for striker, any thoughts? BMcD: Yep I have a few in mind; Washington is banging them in for the Posh and will command a fee of nearly £3 million as well as a big salary to get ahead of the others interested. He's pretty raw and untried at ...

Pepe the Horseman As I said on the other thread, if Dolan was in charge everyone would be upbeat about an unlucky defeat. As it stands, you can all GET FUCKED

Re: Reasons to be cheerful

Reasons to be cheerful:- 1) Reading are starting to pass the ball more fluently, rather than playing the hoofball of previous years. 4) It turns out that Gunter can play football. 5) I just won the Kenyan lottery and can afford to buy the club (once I have provided all my details as requested). You...

Reasons to be cheerful:- 1) Reading are starting to pass the ball more fluently, rather than playing the hoofball of previous years. 2) Generally we look good counter attacking away from home. 3) Obita at left back looks excellent. 4) It turns out that Gunter can play football. 5) I just won the Ken...

Re: Buyout

wally bassoon
No, that was the league cup 1/4 final debacle with that pcunt Craig Hignett

Was that the game the Ref gave us a freekick and all our players ran up the pitch, only for him to change his mind, give it the other way and allow Hignett to run through our half with no players opposing him!

One flew in from Houston purely for the game. They also spoke to Adkins and we're introduced by Chris Samuelson #readingfc

Re: Bring back one player who could make this team sparkle..

Either need 20 goals from this hero (Cureton / Forster / Butler / The Goat) or someone to put their foot through the oppo in the middle of the park (Parky).

Re: Pogrebnyak

So you are as effing blind as the ref and/or only bother looking below the knee?! As others have said, he got an extremely firm hold and tug back on his right arm - a blatant foul and probably bookable offence given the position and the fact Pog was about to break free. Watched it on the box and re...

Re: Pogrebnyak

If every single arm tug got penalised today the game would have ended up abandoned at 7 against 6. Pog was correctly penalised for simulating a foul that didn't happen. It appears the subtleties of what simulation is are stretching a number of people's intellectual boundaries tonight. My work here ...

Re: Pogrebnyak

We could have Messi up front, but if we can't get the ball to him, then he isn't going to do anything. That's where I think the problem lies This. Pog is a finisher. He doesn't create chances, he works for space and finished them. If he's got nothing to finish then he can't be effective. As a resul...
