Huntley & Palmer
brendywendy running about like harper does can only be affected negatively by a huge mega breakfast before a game.

Apart from the fact that it will provide him with the huge amount of calories he needs to last 90 minutes, your statement is entirely correct.

You neglect to mention that they had to play Solano at right back, along with Duberry's main rival to worst defender in the Premiership, and Michael Owen was barely half fit. Oh, and they were managed by Glen Roeder. How does Solano at right back make any difference? Apparantly with their megastars...

Yesterday was further proof if needed that Gunnarsson and Duberry need to be ditched, and soon. I'm actually quite glad we've got Blackburn away next followed by Newcastle who'll both be able to get rugby scores against the team Coppell put out yesterday. How he couldn't learn from a shambles like ...

[ I thought Gunnar was completely absent for most the game, That is good news ! Not only did we win, keep a clean sheet and Doyle scored but we managed 3 points playing with just 10 men ! Which is great if we play against a team as crap as Derby each week, but, lets face it, we won't have that chan...

Gunnarsson was terrible but I thought the rest of the team did ok. Fae comes in I think we'll be fine, Gunnarsson is simply not good enough - the others are going to get better and we will be ok... he is too slow I thought Gunnar was completely absent for most the game, I thought Rosenior and Murty...

I actually thought Halls was pretty poor apart from the odd cross and his 2 offside goals!! Cant beat opinions i guess!! Despite not being able to neither watch nor listen to the game tonight, to conform, I agree. My first game for a year (was in Oz) and I still can't understand why we still have t...

Thought he was gash all game, except once when he moved into the middle and released Long with a very nice park (which Long couldn't control, same as almost every other time he had the ball tonight).

For a defender his tackling and tracking back are laughable.

It's a testament to the training and skills he has learnt at Reading. Well done to the lad I just hope he doesn't disappear into the wilderness.

From reports I've seen he could be the messiah for welsh football!

And how would you know that? I don't know that, i am just speculating how do you explain this second-season syndrome, I have no empirical evidence but unfortunately it happens, i am trying to speculate as to why, i hope it doesn't happen to us but we have to be prepared for this common phenomenon t...

Personally I am flattered to be linked with supporting a club the size of Manchester United. I have always wanted to watch Champions League football live and supporting United would give me that opportunity to sit and watch the best players in Europe. I have not renewed my season ticket at Reading ...

[quoteWilliam had a stronger claim to the British throne than Harold ever did. The Normans were indeed from Scandinavia and like the Saxons before them were pushing westward to escape the fiercer clans coming out of the Steppes (spelling!). Needless to say most Britain’s contain a far higher quan...

Sorry to get technical here, but its incorrect to say that the English owned parts of france, or (as some would have you beleive) that the English Monarch has a claim to the french thrown, as it was actually the Normans who invaded and took over England. If anything the current British head of stat...

Reading 2 Portsmouth 1 Two goals on 90 minutes for the Royals, riot police and horse chasing sailors towards the railway station and a 13 year old boy stood by the gates with a trunk in his arms shaking with fear. Damn these flash backs! (It's ok though it's only Portsmouth and their stupid bell we'...
