Re: New Away kit - do you like it or not

Ok just noticed that the away kit is the same colour as the Waitrose logo... they match not keen at all on the shirts but top ok http://www.readingfc.co.uk/javaImages/d1/2b/0,,10306~6826961,00.jpg he looks like a slim Johnny Vegas Brilliant spot. What could be called a thin-a-like.

Back from the Sweden games... well 2 of them

Great to see a very young looking Reading team in action out here in Sweden and although the opposition was poor reckon there's hope for a decent season ahead. Jonsered match Gunnarsson looked in control at Jonsered, Robson-Kanu looked hungry, and poor old Tabb got hacked down throughout the game. P...

Re: Furthest you've travelled to watch RFC

FROM SWEDEN! Having moved here 4 years ago, and been a Reading fan for 35 years, have aimed for atleast one game at the Mad Stad each season. Flew over for the Charlton home game this year, crap result but so good to be back! Thankfully Coppell chooses the right country for the pre season trip!

Re: Shane Long

M U R T Y Just an observation from the Palace match - when Shane Long was adjusting his shirt when waiting to come on, he showed the world a flabby, overweight stomach. I was amazed, he's 21/22, a professional footballer playing at a high level and can't keep in trim??

Totally agree, I thought the same thing.

Re: Time for Murty?

Rusty royal Is he fit yet??

Hmmmm....'getting closer to a return' on RFC site may not be close enough for the Coventry game. I'd like to see him pull on the hoops again but seriously doubting the likelihood!

Who's Ingimarson? He doesn't deserve a vote but an extra 's' can we give him.

Re: Match Thread - READING (H) v IPSWICH (A)

Lack of tempo, confidence, leadership on the pitch and urgency when it mattered. A very poor day for us. However, it's not all over yet. More than ever we need to get behind our team. It's very easy to support a side that is doing well, but I wonder how many will stand up and be counted now. Fair p...

Haven't seen this anywhere else, so seeing as its only a few days away, i'll start it off. We'll get our first home win since wolves Reading 2-0 Charlton Doyle Cisse Being an expat and a Reading fan for 38 years the score better be higher as I am flying over from Sweden to watch this one. 5-0, Doyl...

Re: What's the most obscure Reading match you have been to?

Has to be the game v Lerskils in Sweden this summer, the Royals were pretty well supported all being considered. Got to sit next to Brian McDermott and listen to my mate discuss how good Alex Pearce was with him. Blistering hot day too. I was there too, and sat in front of McDermott! Fun to see Noe...

Thomas L'Heureux
Kieron1981 at least i know how to pronounce his name properly now :)

I'll continue to pronouce it as it's spelt, similar to who Bikey is still known to me as 'Bike-E' rather than 'Beakay'.

Like we'll pronounce your name Thomas Ell'Heroox
