Re: Ex Players

James Henry having a ball at Aldersh0t, 5 goals in 6 games thus far. Got nothing out of the Dale who had Ryan East in centre mid. Josh Barrett came on for Aldershit in last 20. Showed that potential, but was blowing after 2 minutes, looked like a pub footballer and moved at that pace. Shame, as the...

Re: Team pics

What is the badge on this kit. Good to see we didn't have funds then to put one on every shirt  The badge was just yellow 'RFC' on a red background. It only appeared on shirts in 1965/66 pre-season photos and was never fully adopted. I have not seen any photos from that season which shows th...

Re: Team pics

South Coast Royal Thanks for the pics Sutekh-as you say, they bring back some good memories.
Even though our club identity is of blue hoops I did quite like the Man City/Coventry sky blue colours.

John Redwood has personally brokered the deal in the interests of the 'little people in my constituency". The investors are Welsh, and John will join the Board and lead the crowd in singing the Welsh national anthem (youngsters, google it) before every game

Getting a train from London to Stoke. What is the best way to get to Port Vale. Did read the police sometimes arrange a bus from a pub by Stoke station... is that happening this week?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (h)

Played the way he always did out on the right. He's always been dangerous facing goal running at the fullback. And he's usually poor playing with his back to goal against two CBs. If Ince continues to use him properly on the right he'll be a threat. If he reverts to playing him as a striker, he won...

Snowflake Royal Presumably Anton Zingarevich and Pavel Pogrebnyak weren't content to just ruin Reading FC once, so they created a second version to destroy financially again. This time in Russia.

Re: BFTG-Stoke

Couple of observations: Ince - was having a shocker early on - kept giving the ball away, but as stated above gave his all through to the end - and that cross-field ball on the break deserved being converted Hendrick - playing deeper role, offered an out ball from defence not seen so far this season...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Isn’t everywhere (in the uk) depressing in January? I had a lovely weekend on the North Yorks Coast in January 2022 - cold but blue skies, fresh air, great walks, food & places to visit...... then Sat pm I left for Mordor, where a grey smog decended, depressing doesn't even start to describe it...

Re: BFTG Inspired - Rotherham (A) Match Review

Boro are nailed on top 6 in my opinion. Same squad but not Joe Lumley in goal holding them back. Cardiff are a mid table side. Not consistent enough Boro don’t look a particularly good side to me. Mowatt a useful signing and obvs a good manager but nothing else that stands out Cardiff bang average....
