Re: BFTG - Bristol City

It was good fun today. Two sides who were never going to keep clean sheets made an entertaining game. Walker 7 Made a good save near the end but is no Jaakola Yiadom 7 good Blackett 7 good Moore 8 better than of late O'Shea 6 gifted them the first goal and looked a few seconds behind the play Kelly ...

Re: RFC Poppy badges

I got mine today. It seems the thing to do is to wear them on a lanyard, so they are always on display. I would hate the poppy police to catch me without one.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (a) sponsored by Nigel Adkins last game

We are on a roll, scoring goals, taking the lead and sometimes winning, but I can't quite see us getting much from this one. A loss tonight that doesn't sap the confidence too much and a glittering victory on Saturday will do for me.

Re: BFTG Millwall Home

It was a good team performance. Millwall were powerful but one dimensional. We coped defensively by having enough commitment to win or block the second ball so many times that them being superior aerially didn't matter so much. Also, our goalie played well, but we mustn't forget, after a season of M...

Brain Traysers Sky sports reporting 13 shots with 0 on target. Oof

11 of those must have traveled about a yard before being blocked by a defender.

We were awful, apart from about three minutes when we were a goal down, before QPR realised we were never going to score.

The red card seemed harsh - aren't they supposed to let players off for professional fouls if they make an attempt for the ball?

Only inside the box. to prevent getting punished by a penalty and a sending off.

I see. It's a shit rule that seems a little shitter now.

Re: BFTG , Hull.

Great stuff. The win looked on after about ten minutes, and we retained our superiority for all but a short spell in the second half. Ilori was motm? I thought he defended beautifully and constantly got into forward positions. The red card seemed harsh - aren't they supposed to let players off for p...

Winston Biscuit Rangers offer £3M for Jake Cooper :o :?

He should go for it and take the money. It seems an odd one though: what does Stevie G see in him. I suspect he'll still make a few mistakes even if he does drop down a level.

Re: Ingerlund Vs Tunisia

Just finished watching it delayed. It was OK. Lots of good performances and I think Germany would die for a Harry Kane. I hope we realise we are allowed to tackle for the next few games because we didn't win a 50:50 all game. VAR proved useless, but we survived. With a fit Dele Alli and Rashford on ...

Winston Biscuit
John Madejski's Wallet Yeah just what is RM's problem with Bale?

Colossal wages, injury prone, goes through big spells of poor form.

Slightly better than the home-grown players who replace him in the line-up. Just imagine if Llorente had been good enough to keep Kane out of the Spurs team - he would be hated too.

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

Is that the best goal ever?

I suppose Gareth Bale's overhead kick might not even be the best goal ever by a Welshman, but to do that in a final for a team who hate you when you have just come off the bench is quite something.

Nice that we got the point we needed and that we looked competent. I quite enjoyed watching it delayed without knowing the score.

A Roma v Liverpool final would be the neutrals wet dream I f#cking hate Liverpool. Would have loved City to have turned em over tonight.....but then the city players were c*nts trying to get Mane sent off. Ideal scenario. Madrid in the semis, and if that fails Munich in the final. I couldn't bare t...

Re: VAR

Do you think it was a clear and obvious error though? I'm not sure it was a pen myself, partly because I'm biased of course, but to me the forward was already going down because he knew he'd lost the ball and it was more a coming together than a foul. If it was the other way around then I may well ...

Re: VAR

With the pause to kill the moment after England scored and the 50/50 penalty award for Italy, that's another game spoilt by VAR. The sooner it dies a death the better. Not sure how it killed the moment after England scored as the whole team were off celebrating and was barely any delay in restartin...

The ending is the best bit - oh it's enough - but it is all quite lovely really. I have watched it about twelve times now.
