Re: Those Fake Hoops...

Not sure I have ever seen a manager slag his players off as much as this. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22503120#asset But by doing so it means he can maintain his "not my fault guv" routine. Incidentally: The day after QPR lost, meaning they now have two points from their last ei...

Re: Revised Player of the Season Poll

All of those have had good patches which have made them stand out (much the like the club). I voted for McCarthy as the brightest star when the spotlight was on him.

Plus he's a fellow member of the goalkeeper's union.

Re: Wolves - You've Let us down again

Two pieces from the ever excellent F365 Mediawatch page February 13, 2012: Wolves sack Mick McCarthy. "Mick McCarthy has done a fantastic job but if we continued in this way we were definitely going to be relegated," says Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey. February 24, 2012: Wolves appoint ...

Maguire
Ouroboros Don't really understand why anyone would particularly want us to miss out on 2 games against Swindon.

Who cares about Swindon? Swindon away is vastly inferior to Brentford away, one of the most enjoyable places to go to.

Re: The Play-Offs Thread 2013

Yeovil v Brentford was definitely the win-win final for us Royals. A good away day whichever comes up, would personally like Yeovil so I can tick another ground off, but would definitely be in for a return to Griffin Park.

Re: Wolves - You've Let us down again

Wolves have sacked their manager Dean Saunders after the club's relegation to League One. Saunders left Doncaster Rovers and took over at Molineux in January, but the west Midlands club have suffered consecutive relegations after losing their Premier League status in 2012. The Welshman, 48, was in ...

Re: Player 'signatures'

USA's "No handed saves" as we used to call them. A dive towards a ball going wide of his post, just to check he had it covered, but pulling his hands away from the ball (mid dive) when he knew it was going wide of the post.

USA giving away his shirt post match.

Re: Player 'signatures'

Maguire Nicky Shorey shaping to play a ball down the line only to cut in on his left foot, leaving the oppo jumping into thin air.

Often followed by carrying the ball forward ten yards and flicking it out to the wing with the outside of his left boot.

They're back in it at 2-3 down. Gives them a reasonable shot at the second leg.

The other game's tight too, Northampton 1-0 up iirc

Re: Wolves - You've Let us down again

Very few things unite the entirety of Midlands football fans, but the current Wolves predicament is certainly one of them!

Wolves v Walsall is normally Wolves's usual pre-season friendly, but will next season be a league game (almost certainly). Wolves v Shrewsbury too. :D  :D

Re: Promotion/Relegation Watch

You suspect whichever of WoLOLves or Peterborough is going to stay up will need to pick up something from those home games, wouldn't fancy either of them to pick up much on the last day, Barnsley should get 4 points from their last two I reckon.
