Re: Speculation - Lucas Piazon??

This is really good signing. Great talent. Should score plenty of goals when played around a decent targetman.

edit:this is still uncorfirmed?
Weird. The Dutch leading football news site states it is a done deal.

Re: RUMOR - Ricky Van Wolfswinkel

I've seen him play a lot and he's not very good. Lightweight and totally unsuited for the championship, or premiership for that matter. Whenever his name is mentioned in Norwich people laugh. That's pretty much all you need to know. Yeah, and ask anyone in Lisbon and they don't. He wouldn't be the ...

Re: RUMOR - Ricky Van Wolfswinkel

Don`t do it. May be a decent striker in less physically demanding leagues , but he will always struggle in England.

Re: Does anyone speak Dutch?

Shame, I would have liked to get with her, I think that Finerain's learned translation is rather better on this point, tulip: Too bad, because I want her Vincken I have never heard the word Vincken before. It doesn't appear in the dutch dictionary. The only reference to it I can find is of a dutch ...

Re: Does anyone speak Dutch?

In Dutch "versieren" also means to flirt with or to make a pass at someone.
That`s what is probably meant here.

Re: Life after Brendan

I don`t worry about the rest of the teams because I don`t give a shit about them. Next season those loan signings are gone, and so is Ivar as it appears, so that leaves Mills and Pearce I guess. But to make my point clear once more:I do like the fact our current back four is finally functioning prop...

Re: Life after Brendan

I think that McDermott is everything Rodgers isn't. I was never a fan of Rodgers, didn't like the man's arrogance and lack of humility so I would be biased but McDermott has got the team back to basics, playing simple effective football that plays to the squads' strengths, not some fanciful idea of...

Re: Rodgers Hits Out

Getting carried away by one win and then this. Is it really that hard to keep your mouth shut when your teams`performances are well below what people expect? 2 home matches now and you know you`ll be crucified when these turn out to be losses  His handling of the press is probably the worst I...

I doubt it.
But if we get nothing from today, the Coventry match and the Ipswich match then I would be surprised if he is still in charge.

We didn`t win a home game in the league as well when Hahnemann came back , if I am not mistaken.
So when has Fed cost us a game this season, and did he win a point for us somewhere(Swansea and Preston away perhaps?)

With todays medical technology it's possible to determine just how much someone has had, for how long etc. You aren't going to get an illicit high of any sort with the quantities detectable following use in medication. Simple as. If you detect trace amounts, check their story, do more advanced test...

Re: Next 23 Games - points compared to 2008/9 team

Quite unlikely we get more points and if we are safe mid-table after 23 games I would be more than pleased, considering the changes the team has gone through. Edit:Just read that it was compared to Coppell`s last 23 games. Well, I hope so, otherwise we`re in serious trouble and probably looking for ...

Re: We could be the luckiest fans in the country!

Will we be so positive if we lose 0-4 at Toon today? I`d be quite surprised if we get a point or more there, considering the average age of the teams we fielded against Forest and Burton Albion. At best this will be a transition season and anything more than midtable-obscurity would actually be a gr...

Re: Bobby Robson's Worst Game

More like luck was on our side that day.
If I remeber that game correctly England struck the post twice before we scored the first.
If only one of them had gone in, Holland would have never won this game or the tournament.
